Has anybody got information on whether or not Robert still does any production? I tried sending an E-mail, asking whether or not the bolt carriers they've got listed on their website are in-stock/available, with no response back. It's been 'at least' a couple weeks, if not closer to a month now. I've needed one for ages. Got some cash now, and am interested in getting one. The gun makes for an expensive wallhanger otherwise, since my carrier broke many moons ago.

Whats the average time to complete an order from this store? I placed a order 2 weeks ago and never received a phone call to verify. I tried calling but it doesn't get me anywhere, phone doesn't even ring. It takes me straight to voice mail, I left a message and still no call back.

Is this one of those places that I have to order and forget about it till it decides to show up ?

Hi, I was looking to purchase one of your R&R Saiga 12 bolt carriers and just had a few questions:

1. Is it a drop in replacement for the factory carrier?

2. It shouldn't affect headspacing, right?

3. All the dimensions of the gas piston rod will be the same as factory? Only on special orders will they differ from the factory length rod, correct?

4. Are the gas piston's pinned?

Thanks!

-Forsaken

Picked up my new R&R targets Saiga today from the FFL. While I'm not pleased with how my FFL handled the situation, the shot gun is another story.

Looks great and balances very nicely. I did notice the comp seems smaller than others I have seen, is this a new design? The ar style safety needs some wearing in as it's very stiff right out of the box.

One more question, are the mags meant to drop free, cause mine don't unless I shake he gun pretty good.

Can't wait to go shoot it tomorrow.

I hassled Robert for quite a while to make a new steel target. Here it is, a combination of two 5 point stars hooked together on an offset shaft. With 10 steel targets as each target is shot the balance changes and the whole thing rotates and swings. Looks pretty crazy.

First I have to say that Robert has been extremely helpful and really helped my decision in buying his open class s12. Honestly wouldnt have purchased it (yet) if it wasnt for his awesome customer service and confidence in his work. I shot him a email with some questions about his open class, and he was calling me the next day to talk about it. So today i received the gun.... I own a good amount of quality pistols, rifles, and shot guns. And a stock saiga is not one of my favorite guns it has alot of room for work. Well after opening the package, seeing all thats included, the mags (i think he gave me an extra one) im pretty sure i only ordered 3, cleaning kit, Aimpoint, his stock has became one of my favorites going to replace a couple AR stocks, and then... The shotgun.. It feels nice in the shoulder, weight was honestly not what i expected. In pictures the stock and Extended hand guard looked almost bulky/heavy. it is far from heavy. i have not shot it but i know the swing is going to be quick and stable, just like an ar... Enough about a gun i havnt shot. Im counting down my 10 days. Quick questions.. I could easilly call Robert but im sure the guy is super busy. Any break-in procedure with the gun? i know he tests it out to make sure its running right before he sends it out.. my first day with it I will be putting it to work!

I want to do the conversion and have researched many of the fine people offering this service. My question is for people who've had the R&R conversion. How do you like the ar type safety? The pro and cons of all the changes would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for all the feedback.

Handguard weight question

Hello,

How much does the full length handguard (the breacher) weigh? Any idea how it compares to the factory handguard weight-wise?

Thanks.
