930 Tactical JM Pro Series

My Mossberg 930 Tactical JM Pro Series

This is how it is straight out of the box. Adjustable trigger, fiber optic sight (works like a bead sight), ribbed 22in barrel with internal choke set, tapped and drilled aluminum alloy receiver, Nordic Components MXT tube extension, aluminum alloy shell follower, last round bolt hold open, enlarged knurled charging handle, metal trigger guard/assembly, a nice gummy comfy rubber butt pad. Chambered for 2 3/4 and 3in 12 gauge shells.

It needed some love right out of the box but I've seen worse, much worse. I cleaned it. I polished all contact points in the receiver, polished the chamber (helps with insertion and extraction), deburred the factory springs (Gas and recoil system, it has been known to hang up a mossy with the recoil system spring.) inspected all factory polished parts and polished further the fixed mag tube (To promote minimum resistance during the cycling process and improve energy to cycle the action/reliability.), deburred a recoil system part or two (probably would've been ok but I don't like burrs no matter how insignificant it may be.), filed and polished the BCG (BCG was mostly immaculate with exception to some tool marks which might have led to friction and resistance in the ejection and reloading process.), deburred the crown of the fixed mag tube (Which was jagged and had a major set of burrs, could've turned into a hangup and damaged the follower creating a failure to feed in the future.). It was easy to tear down and pretty easy to reassemble. It's a good product but they need some tlc out of the box before you expect it to be awesome.
