These nubbins are wierd and I expected that I would end up grinding them off to make it thinner. I think I will leave them. They seem in keeping with what a comblock country would do.

 

This doesn't look quite as clean as the Kick-Eez Pad I did for the other one, but installation was very simple. I simply traced the plate onto the pad, cut the pad out to shape and then sanded it to clean up. Then I glued it to a spare buttplate with black urethane, masking with tape. I then cleaned the plate of any stray urethane, and touched up the paint. It looks all right and feels pretty good. I would say better than Limbsavr, but not quite as good as Kick-eez. Not bad for $8. No range report yet, but I think it will do well.

 

It is way easier to keep the stock on my shoulder doing an AK mag drill with this on there.
