There are a surprising amount of complex cuts if you want a friction fit in addition to using the axis holes to mount this. It would have been better to do this with a mill of course, but I think I could have done close to mill quality and quickly with a good band saw.

Not sure if that is a complement, an insult or both??

 

It would certainly make more sense to just buy one. I am just pretty cash poor, so if it isn't in the budget it doesn't happen. I have been getting pretty tired of waiting to have this gun "done" so I am doing the parts I can from my apartment. So far shavings are vacuuming up alright.

All that done, and then the holes for the screws on the side wandered.

I corrected that, but what a beginner mistake...

I should have transfer punched and drilled in place.

 

I did almost all of the cuts with a sawzall, because that's what I have. The cuts stayed pretty true. I just did a couple laps with a grinder to smooth out the saw marks, and the thing was true to spec.
