those cooling towers just make me see $$$.

The fact that you chose a nuclear power plant as a background is a bit disconcerting

Its fossil fuel, not nuclear

Gotcha. I can literally see a nuclear plant from my office and if I were to stand in that proximity with my AK I would have to talk to a lot of people I don't want to talk to =)

Yeah cooling towers are cooling towers, they're used for plants other than nuke plants. There were a few in Nashville for a while, small ones but they were for geothermal not nuke.

 

I can stand right next to a nuke one and nothing will happen though. There is a place a few miles out where they botched the build so they cancelled the completion of the nuke plant, Cooling tower was one of the only things they managed to complete.
