Is the receiver bare or coated? If coated, with what and what color?

 

Whats in the trigger guard?

the receiver is blasted and sprayed with K-Phos; it's a cold parkerizing. when i'm done with it, i'll strip the factory paint that is left and coat the whole gun.

 

that's actually a fastener i used to serve as a trigger blade for the Izhmash sear. it's temporary. once i get the gun cycling with the Izhmash FCG, I'll leave the gas ports alone.

if any issue arise from installing a different FCG, I'll address the FCG to resolve them.
