Next I'm getting the barrel shortened to 18" and putting a Strikefire sight on it.

How do you like the Israeli handguard on it?
I have 3 sets of furniture. The Izzy, the original STG, and a walnut set from Ironwood. The walnut set is the most attractive, but the Izzy I like best. The STG handguard gets uncomfortably hot even during slow fire. I made a set of stainless heatshields to go inside them and that helped alot. But once I got the Izzy I haven't put the STG back on it.
The Ergo grip is the last thing I did to it. It's a very comfortable grip. Much better angle than the stock grip. But I'm not totally in love with the look of it. It took some dremel work to get it to fit.

Barrel is cut to 18" now. Much better.
