Fitty% 808 Posted March 27, 2013 Report If the stock isn't mounted you shouldn't put a picture of it like this on a public forum. Even though your form one is submitted you can still get in trouble because you physically don't have the tax stamp yet. Its called "intent to construct". Quote Link to comment
XD45 7,124 Posted March 27, 2013 Report I trust that my constructive intent was clear when I filed the Form 1. I wouldn't be posting a picture of an AR lower and a short barrel upper without a stamp in hand, since those parts can be put together without modification of either. But since there is drilling that must be done before the stock can be mounted I'm comfortable posting the picture. 1 Quote Link to comment
gunfun 3,931 Posted March 28, 2013 Report Further, the state wouldn't bother. They would have to prove a crime beyond a reasonable doubt. I doubt any jury would say " Hmm, he spent all that money on stamps and waited for a few months, and there haven't been any modifications yet, but I am sure he planned to bolt that on a week before his form 1 comes back." garnaz 215 Posted March 28, 2013 Report Does the angle on receiver change angle on stock? I had mine sent out and rebuilt on another wondering now if i wasted money doing that. Quote Link to comment
XD45 7,124 Posted March 28, 2013 Report The trunnion does give a slight angle to the stock but I don't see this as a problem. Quote Link to comment
poolingmyignorance 2,191 Posted March 29, 2013 Report The stock should be mounted at an angle. 3 degrees is proper. Quote Link to comment
XD45 7,124 Posted March 30, 2013 Report One source I read said the M92PV is 4 degrees. It feels pretty good to me. Quote Link to comment
ARCHANGEL 104 Posted March 30, 2013 Report What kind of pistol grip are you using? Did you have to mod it? Quote Link to comment
XD45 7,124 Posted March 30, 2013 Report The grip is an Ergo, and yes I had to modify it. Not too difficult and worth the effort. Quote Link to comment
