ChileRelleno 7,071 Posted September 3, 2013 Report Cute pic, start'em young and teach'em right, the pot requires reading material. Been through that process with my three kids, I'm grateful its over and done with. Teach'em to share the costs of expensive hobbies when they get older. My youngest boy, 7yrs, wanted very much to go fishing today. I told him we were short money to do so, but that today was payday for chores (allowance), and that if he'd cover a cost, we could go. He bought the bait, two large Mullet for cut bait and a half pound of shrimp, $5.36. I covered ice/soda. I've made him buy his own brick of .22lr before, while I paid the range fee. It works, you should see the decision process, he gets very serious about spending his money. Toy, candy or favorite hobbies? Quote Link to comment
