chevyman097 2,579 Posted May 26, 2014 Report With the head on that thing he could eat your fist. He is definitely hungry. Could have been a monster. What lake is that? small one? or just bad time of year? 2 Quote Link to comment
thebuns1 4,323 Posted May 26, 2014 Report Its Tellico lake here in TN on the south side of the FT. Loudon damn. Pretty good sized lake. He was def. hungry. Ive had a few of my older fishing buddies say it should have weighed in at over 7 pounds. TVA treated this lake with some shit a while back and it killed the vegetation, and much of the shad. So food is harder to find, but for some reason the largemouth and the smallmouth are in a big abundance. They are supposed to be stocking the lake with shad, but I havent seen many this year. 1 Quote Link to comment
Spacehog 2,218 Posted May 28, 2014 Report That fish should definitely weigh a couple more pounds with that head. Hopefully TN will get some more shad in Tellico, but in the meantime, enjoy the fishing, hungry fish typically equals more "catching" and less " fishing". I miss the smallmouth fishing in TN. Tim's Ford and Woods reservoir were my old stomping ground. Caught many 5lb+ smallies on those lakes. 1 Quote Link to comment
thebuns1 4,323 Posted May 28, 2014 Report Hell yeah Spacehog. I hope to make it over to chickamauga this summer. Its not far away, just a matter of finding the time to get out there. They have excellent bass fishing over there. 1 Quote Link to comment
