  1. I just took a really good look at 3 receivers. 3 were almost straight and one was drastically bent to the left at the rear. The bent one was hardly fired before it came here and has the most evidence of the bolt head striking in the receiver at the trunnion of the four. One has seen at least two owners that fired it and has very little evidence of the bolt head striking the trunnion. That one was almost perfectly straight. I was quite surprised. When I settle down tonight I'll try to post some pics. I have a lot of machine work to do today and my wife is out of town, so I may end up making a

  2. I'm okay with that, so long as it is designed to be a simple shotgun with a compact action. i.e. not a long pump action with the usual clockwork pinball machine inside. There is no good reason for why a shotgun should have any more moving parts than a military carbine. Nor should it be more complex.
