The problem with shouldering it is not so much the muzzle blast as much as there is no safe place for your head to avoid the ejected brass. It's a very interesting firearm, though, and Bushmaster still has some spare parts for them amazingly enough.

It looks great! Did you work out the trigger issues; can you post a pic of what you did with the trigger?

Boy, I fire off one innocent little email, and next thing you know, Mike's making a saiga-20 drum. Crap, I should have emailed him a year ago.

Yeah, I was totally floored by his response as well. He's actually indicated that they might start looking into this within the next few weeks, as soon as they catch up on the saiga-12 drum orders. I guess that old saying that you can't get fed with your mouth closed is true.

Perhaps not as unlikely as y'all might think; here's the response I got: Perhaps if more people requested a Saiga-20 drum, MD Arms might be willing to run off a few of them...

So, is there any chance that MD Arms will make a drum for the Saiga-20? Considering the smaller size of the 20 gauge shell, would this mean that we can get a 25 round drum?

I tried the XLP, but it sits lower than the Eotech and was kinda uncomfortable to sight through. It does look better on the gun, though.

Well, I finally finished it. This build was a TOTAL pain in the ass. I don't think there's one part of the KVAR kit that didn't have to be modified... with the possible exception of the parts that wern't used.
