  1. Bingo! I believe the MAJORITY of events involving extremists of all flavors can be traced back to an FBI agent provocateur can't they?
  2. Wow, I never thought you would get your property back fro those skanks! Good Job!
  3. I think merely the possibility of being filmed will improve law enforcement by reminding officers that they are PUBLIC servants. Also it might help quite a few cops out when some dirtbag accuses them of something they didn't actually do just off camera. Transparency for those wielding authority is the hallmark of a free and democratic society.
  4. I knock out the pins with a punch and a drilled hockey puck and the give the sight tower a sideways whack with a wood or rawhide mallet. If it will move to the side then it can be banged off with a soft faced hammer.
  5. DOD investigators are the ones who show up if someone is selling stolen military items.
  6. It is a front line weapon used by Russian SF(dangerous) to kill jihadis who use 40 year old unimproved AKs(retarded)
  7. The FSB is bored out and moved back and the muzzle threaded 14x1mm LH but you are wanting the true RPK look so I would go the full monty and get the RPK parts. It's damn close so a little reaming or sleeving will get you to 308 RPK land with minimal effort. Here is a Bulgy/Russian pattern RPK barrel with everything removed.
  8. Here is one of my Saiga 308s with an RPK forend retainer and handguard.I removed the protrusions inside the barrel band part of the retainer and then made 2 shims to compensate for the taper of the S308 barrel where the retainer mates to it and it was very solid. The Romanian RPK stuff is nearly identical to the Russian items as far as I know.
  9. This crap never happens around the right people(like a group of Marines on leave or an NRA-ILA Meetup) and somehow I don't think it ever will. There seems to a common theme among all of the victims of these incidents and that is the projection of weakness or at least apathy.
  10. My Ultimaks are a compromise to get cowitness but if I run them hot and heavy I need gloves and they will cook anything short of a milspec Aimpoint. I love the idea of an RSB mount that is beefier than the LaRue Irondot!
  11. I have asked about 8 different faggots with CNC machines to make exactly this since 2004 and this guy comes along and fills the void? I will buy one for a fact but that forum is useless and won't let me register!
  12. I'll just keep them in the PU truck. Yakdung Just carry some decent flex-cuffs. They're lighter and more compact than metal cuffs. Downside, obviously, is they're one time use... which is fine unless you're CA'ing people day in and out for some reason. +1 I always keep a big zip tie handy. Good for all sorts of practical purposes but I could double them up around some dirtbag's wrists if I needed to.
  13. Hurray! I am glad to hear it!
  14. It's a ripoff/improvement of the LaRue IRONDOT. I like it!
  15. It might be a cover so that those guys can go live out the rest of their lives without constantly looking over their shoulders.

  17. he'll go somewhere sympathetic and be back in uniform in 3 months.

    So are these yours?
  19. Unfortunately, they don't work at all in mine because they sit too low. If you push them up by hand they cycle fine. When I get around to it I'll probably build the tabs up on them with JB Weld and use them for range work only. Other than that, I've had zero problems with the factory 8 round and I just got a CSSPECS 10 rounder that I haven't used yet. Maybe Sunday. If you cut out a piece of thin sheetmetal and glue that in place instead of just building it up with JB Weld you will make the magazine worth of serious emergency use. I have thought about sanding mine down just to m
