  1. Gee,being from the only Jewish family in my area I got bullied by older kids a lot when I was a kid so I learned to fight really well and spent one summer taking them down one by one until I was considered one of the toughest kids in school. I never thought about stabbing any of them even when a couple of them had me on the ground stomping me stupid. I never ratted them out to the school or the cops, I never had a doubt in my mind that if I kept training and going to the gym that I wasn't going to get some paypack. I think I am a stronger person mentally because I endured it and then overcame it.

I don't begrudge this kid the right to not be harassed but killing somebody over a kid's bus fight seems pretty far out.

  2. Full of fail! Could have made a 60-70rd mag that would fit in an AK double mag pouch but made these pud things instead. Top that off with the fact that they probably skimped on the metal in the front catch and feed lips and you have an expensive piece of failure prone baloney. I will stick with my Circle 10 Waffles and Milsurp Steel until further notice.

Oh and that takedown AK using interrupted threads instead of a camming pin like a belt-fed would is another poor execution of a decent idea. The problem seems to be that they take other people's ideas and then make the short bus version and slap a huge price tag on it.

  3. I have been searched twice when I was younger and one of those times they damaged my car, found nothing and didn't apologize or even bat an eyelash at damaging the interior of my $40,000 SUV. I didn't know I had the right to tell them they needed to get a warrant. Now I am fully ready to make them demonstrate PC, get a warrant and litigate them for damages to my property and even keep a lawyer on retainer for just that purpose. I sometimes hope I will get pulled over so I can fire it up on them and give them a good bending over when they find NOTHING. This happens every day in every jurisdiction in the US, it's an epidemic of attempted violation of the US Constitution, a "fishing trip" if you will and it should be stopped.

  4. Well in manufacturing there is:

    what you can make

what you wish you could make

and what your customers can afford.

Generally speaking its the money factor that controls what gets made.

One other factor is that car designers generally are people who love cars, generally they like fast cars.

    ...hence my car!

Having owned 4 new GM products I can say I am truly sorry for you and the lesson you are about to learn being a GM owner. Other than a Corvette meant to take up space in your garage there is no reason to buy a new GM car other than to throw bales of money into a drainage culvert and watch it float away.

  5. After doing a cost/benefit analysis of a semi truck vs any automobile ever made I am convinced that all automobiles are intentionally made to be disposable garbage. Not just newer cars full of gizmos and plastic but even cars that have a beloved reputation and a cult following for their "durability" like Toyota Landcruisers(which I have owned).

Here is why. a $98,000, 21,000lb Semi truck can be driven without a trailer, this is called "Bobtailing" and in that state these 21,000lb behemoths of the road can get 8-10MPG and without the massive weight and strain of a 50,000lb trailer behind it would last over 1,000,000 miles with fairly basic maintenance. If engineers and auto makers extrapolated these same qualities to let's say an SUV you should be able to buy a $24,500, 6500lb SUV that gets 36-40MPG and will last 1,000,000 MILES!

but we have never seen such a vehicle offered because we are a bunch of stupid consumerist sheeple who don't know any better and won't demand more for our money.

Peterbuilt should start making sedans with Cummins 4BT engines and little Eaton full 6 speeds with 2.11 rear end gears that get 60mpg and put these clowns out of business.

  6. I really like the Ford 8.8. It is a pretty easy swap and if you get the correct 8.8 you will have a disk brake rearend. That being said that Dana 44 bolts right in. But the 8.8 usually runs around $200.

I actually did do an 8.8 with disc brakes because I couldn't find a real Cherokee D44,lol After gears, welding and install the 8.8 was a bit more than $200 though.

The 4 row all bronze radiator is a good swap too because I have read the cooling systems in older Cherokees were the sealed type that crap out and leave you stranded.

  7. www.NAXJA.org is your friend! Any and all info is there.

The Mullet Man knows of what he speaks. After reading a few XJ articles about various builds I headed out and found an XJ to build up for me and my kids to go camping and trail riding in. The best 4x4 for the dollar ever made, If it's got the towing package many of the pioneers came with Dana 44 rear axle which I just paid $800 for since my 1993 didn't come with the stronger axle from the factory.

    Enjoy

  9. I sure wish something would happen but it most likely will not.Anything to break the ever tightening loop of authoritarian control schemes and bipedal cattle giving away my rights with reckless abandon so long as they can swipe their plastic swerve through traffic texting on their iphones and screw each other's spouses by hooking up on fakebook they perfectly seem happy to sell my my every last freedom up the river.

Maybe a good 6 months with the lights out would wake them up or kill them off(either one would be fine with me) but alas the curse these sorry douche nozzles have brought upon us is all the disaster we will get and it's a slow motion disaster so nobody moves out of the way until they figure out that Soylent Green is people, lol

  10. Eric holder announced that a plot to kill a Saudi Ambassador was foiled and that the killers were the Mexican Zeta Drug Cartel and that the mastermind(if you could call him that) was an Iranian Operative.

Is this for real or is this an excuse to insert Mexico's cartel problems into our already bloated "War on Terror" dance card?

  11. I bought many, many battlepacks of SA 308(@$.18 per round) and while it is not the ideal ammo for my S308 it can turn in 2.50-1.75 five shot groups. I have never had a misfire or primer issue with this ammo in several thousand rounds in FALs, M1As or my Saiga.
