Well with the cheek rest up the red dot lines up nice. The rest has to be down to use the ghost rings comfortably. Other than that, it's a long thing with the bayonet on it.

Well, it started with the Benelli/ Beretta Hybrid. I picked up a Saiga stock from Floyd9. Didn't by any means gonna fit that project so... I had a stock.... Gotta buy a gun. So a Mossberg/AK was born; It started as a Mossberg 500 Persuader in 12 Ga. I fitted a Saiga Skeleton stock to it; Next was the Tapco Galil Handguard. I ran it through the table saw to trim the sides down for clearance issues. Fitting that turned into a project to it's own, but I engineered my way to success. I use to own one of those sporsterized MAS 36's. It was a nice short brush gun. They weren't ever that collectable or high priced. Nice wood, that's about the most intresting part of the ugly little French gun. It could be a fun project your thinking of, very doable.

I bought the Beretta 1200FP a month ago, it was stock with a bubba'd up scope mount. But that's in another post. From there my mind started spinning with ideas for a ........ More better looking? Semi tactical? Something different? Blaa Blaa Blaa First thing was to un-bubba the scope mount. I got a nice tight lower one to replace the cheap POS that was on it. What the rail was for I forgot, but it was long enough to hide the holes and I made it fit.
