  1. Like it says, WTB Saiga Skeleton stock. I know I can score them for @ $80 online, but.......... Anyone got one they want to get rid of? Looking at it as a project, fitting to a NON-Saiga shotgun. So screw holes chewed up, bla bla bla, ain't a problem, it will never fit a Saiga again. If anyone has one around, and willing to part with it, contribute to the delinquency of a gun addict, shoot me a PM with a price. Thanks in advance.
  2. Well, for myself, I like to start the day off right with a nice bowl of bacon cereal; Pack my lunch for work, always BLT sandwiches, with a healthy dose of baconnaise; Dinner is a nice spiral cut glazed ham, with a plate of warm bacon/ chocolate chip cookies; Mmmmm, that's some good eating.
  3. PSL Mags I just found a guy kinda locally (@ hour or so north of me) that has very good condition mags, 10 for $130 shipped.
  4. LOL Mine's a conglomeration of Russian and US gear. The better part of it is a Russian Grad-2 vest. Then I added pouches and drop legs to it.
  5. It wouldn't be that hard. You would have to remove the trunion and weld the holes, which you would do with the trigger holes anyway I would hope. Going underfloder the scope rail is a gone item, more than likely. The templates you can search the web there around, but the fact of printing them might be off. Still not that big of a problem. I used the old stub of the reciever as a template, but with that kit it's not an option. because it's not included. So, if I was going to take on this project, I'd make my own template. Its easy to make your own template. Just take a piece of masking ta
  6. I had the same thoughts about 10 years ago when the stocks were still around on the market. I haven't seen any loose stocks in a very long time. But with the rerelease you might be able to hunt down a factory direct, or get an importer to lay hands on one. Either way I don't believe it's going to be a cheap option.
  7. AMD 65's didn't come with wooden upper and lower handguards. I'd like to see a pic of what you got first.
  8. NY only bans new manufactured mags over 10 rounds. PreBan mags are not illegal. To own or use.
  9. FYI- That Chinese lower handguard is off a NHM- 91 through 93. long barrel..
  10. You get what you pay for most of the time. Cheap AK that goes BANG, buy a WASR. From there it goes up.
  11. I have to admitt i do like my MP15/22. it was a fun rifle to dress up. Runs like a champ, eats everything from CCI Blazzers to russian steel cased ammo.
  12. M59/66A1 M59 M70AB2 I built the M70 from a parts kit. I had full intentions of restoring it to minty until I seen the Brenda from 90210 stickers on the HG's. Then well, it became a BF pickup. LOL I built the rifle on a flat reciever and matched the patina of wear and abuse.
  13. $75 !!!!!!! Really?????? Shit, I'd love to score cheap parts kits again. NDS Reciever = @ $100, A flat you can probable find for $30 FCG = @ $30 Rivets, other small parts, furniture = @ $100 if that, Hell your in good for alot of fun. Kinda felling jealous.
  14. LOL I remember when the SAR Series of rifles came into the market. They then were the bottom of the barrel for AK's. Now thier sought after. Nice Rifles by the way.
  15. well this was a spinner I made from 3/8" plate, it didn't fare well to some calibers shot at it; Manhole covers are fun, but dont hold up at all, cast steel. That's a 3/8" plate behind it;
  16. LOL, that's the new world. I got a notice package was shipped, no other info, waiting day by day. LOL We've all gotten use to the instant gratifaction happening nowadays.
  17. I was thinking about the colors and paint this morning. I came up with an idea, Mike can have color choice, but the personal touch might be mine. Gonna keep it quiet, to myself, for now. As for the doner SKS...... that was a very clean Yugo. It was a shame to cut it up, but like Jake said, We tried to trade down. Woulda loved to, but no one had a clean beater in stock. the money wasn't the issue as much as that feeling of "IT's to nice to hack up". This is gonna be a fun one. Gonna require test firing along the build, work the bugs out as it progresses. the gas system might have to
  18. LOL This is gonna be fun. Been looking forward to this project for a long time. We gotta shave the bolt so mag insertion can be done on a closed bolt. I don't even remember what we talked about for DuraCoat on that.
  19. The arrow in the triangle is the Romanian Arsenal mark. The "G" kits were Guard issued rifle demilled full auto kits. WASR's are commercially produced kits for the US market.
