  1. For along time I had the STG scoped with a 3x9x40. I don't remember why I took it off. LOL It's in the FAL parts pile.
  2. Got bored on my day off, did what I had to, then decided to take some pics. Top an STG-58 With a Izzy HB stock and Ironwood grip. The lower is the Australian I just picked up. I like it but i gotta score some wood for it. Decent pic, not everything I got but enough to make it interesting.
  3. No they are not bad, older one's were questionable, those are rare. Some of the parts are unique to the Universal Carbine, but many of the parts interchange with the US M1 Carbine. Universal Firearms was bought by Iver Johnson Firearms in 1982. In 1987 Iver Johnson was bought by AMAC. AMAC went out of business in 1994. All of them made the Carbine. Numrich bought all of AMAC parts inventory for the Universal Carbine. So if you run into wall, it's the only place I know to get parts.
  4. Yeah, that's the first think that came up in my mind. I lost that need for speed after coming to with my hand under the exhaust pipe, leaning against a guard rail. The stitches and picking rocks out of my arm for weeks was nothing compared to that. I enjoy the cruise, rolling along. Don't get me wrong every now and then you gotta let it breath, just alittle more cautious about the surroundings.
  5. Do you see the motorcycle? Now do you see it? The Honda crotch rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The rider's reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place. All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instant
  6. Hey, hey, hey, their not bottle openers, their tools! There's the last text message I received to come over, it's a pic of the fridge, kind of a light load, but it will do for part of an evening. As for the Saiga, always fun to help out a friend rip apart something he just received. LOL He needed someone to take pics, drink beer, and tell him to stop and/or NO. You know what I mean Jake.
  7. Gotta love a big evil black rifle Mine loves the Czech silver tip also
  8. Twinsen, It's kinda harmless now. By the way, I'm stealing that smiley.
  9. // Takes notes for future vacation planning // Hell yes!!! Let's go watch the show!!! I've been sent to the demo range to "dispose" of old, out dated ordinance more than once. Playing how many trees can we cut down at once? I wonder how high in the air we can launch that old truck? I don't know about you but, 400 air-to-air missiles going up must have been a sight to see.
  10. I just picked up another on Sat. That only makes two for me. I love STG-58 and the Austalian inch I just got shoots real nice. Gotta score a stock set from Ironwood for it. They were and still are a very capable weapon. They came with everything but wheels to drag it around. When SHTF, I will gladly sacrifice weight for weapon. Edit for; DSArms Enterprise Century arms if built on an Imbel receiver Earlier Century receivers had Fail to Feed problems due to mono-brow feed ramps instead of the correct gull wing shaped.
  11. Think this could cause an ammo problem down the line? 35 missing in Russian arms depot blasts: 3 hours 50 mins ago AFP Around 35 people were reported missing Friday after a series of blasts ripped through an arms depot outside the central Russian city of Ulyanovsk, causing a huge fire. "The fate of these 35 people is unknown," Sergei Davydov, an aide to Ulyanovsk Governor Sergei Morozov, told AFP. The governor told news agencies that more than 3,000 people had been evacuated within a radius of seven kilometres (four miles) around the fire. He said the toll of 35
  12. Have both of my great, great grandfather's (father's side) Discharge papers from the Civil War. One Honorable, one Medical. Still have buttons from one of their uniforms. You said " Not a firearm", but Hey! I got a Belgium made Double Barrel Blackpowder Shotty from 1880's Also have a full 1910 Edition of Encyclopedia Britannica. I don't think I'd write any reports on modern history using it. LOL
  13. DAMAGE - Pumpkin, plates and the hot water heater that took a crap on me. All and all, a Damn fine day. Friends, firearms and fun.
  14. My turn; Nailbomb smoking his Saiga; Note the pumpkin.
  15. Well the most recent juice I had was Breath Taking to say the least. Let's put it this way, Never leave me alone on third shift at a Ethanol plant on the distill skid. In my own defense, when you see a label on a test port valve that says 200% grain, you gotta try it. LOL
  16. Sorry Guys photo op in the Panama jungle. The 60 was not my primary weapon, this was; Little hard to shoot in the jungle.
  17. Scored this can of Chinese not to long ago for $130 That's 520 Rds for $130 = 25 cents a round
  18. Jpanzer, Thanks for that memory! Oh I remember the headaches from that. Cutting it with Kool-aid to get it down and wishing you didn't the next day. GOD, I loved being young and in the ARMY.
  19. I don't know where you would score some, Hell I don't even remember what they called it. Last prison renovation I was on the Carps were using sheets of some wild board. It was like 3/8 fiber reinforced cement board on both sides and a 1/8 of lexan sandwiched between them. That was some hardcore shit, they had to cut everything outside because of dust and noise, it was eating saw blades by the 12 pack. They placed that over 3/4 plywood. It was fire rated for interior prison walls, and lord know they got a somewhat better life than I do, Per my taxes of course.
  20. My brother runs some monster printing press shipped in from Germany down in NYC. He enjoys his job, I've scored some great sh*t from him over the years. Cool pics to uncut sheets of trading cards. Pualyski, Mental health work? Dude, New section to the forum, Online Psychiatric. I'm all over that! I've always been the first to admit, I'm not right in the head. As for me, 4 years of grooming to be a electrical engineer, and I'm a Union Insulator. Why?? See above. . . ^^^^^^^^^^^
