I will side with the federal goverment agency " Department of Homeland Security" . Egro, I do not own any assault weapons...... I own close quarters personal defense rifles. As they have stated, there purpose and use resemble a very very very close definition to the need I have for my firearms. Less the point, none of mine are fullauto/selectfire.

Styrofoam cups are one of the great plan wanta-be's.
Just add it to the list with the 20 oz sodas, SAFE ACT, the bill to ban SALT in restaurants, smoking in public ( not just parks or state property.... in public), on that note.... punishable crime to smoke in your own home if there are children under the age of 18 living there. The list goes on..........

Well, as the law reads.... “Any AK‐47 variant designed to fire ammunition in any caliber manufactured by the firms listed below . . . . . . Izhevsk Factory ‐ Russia.”
A Saiga is a saiga..... Any configuration or caliber...... It is an assault weapon...... Convert away.

I like the sentiment. But I'll pass on a pre order... I like my state, the idiots running it are the bad part.

I've opened up receivers and trunions from single stack to double on AK's. A mill would be nice for it, but I did the work in my garage with a drillpress and dremel.

I have a couple 410's, one being a '94 dated also. Other than the gas system, a few cosmetic differences and the '94 doesn't have a bolt hold open. Mechanically they are the same gun.

What type of HG are you looking for?

tok, I was told the opposite.....
“Any AK‐47 variant designed to fire ammunition in any caliber manufactured by the firms listed below . . . . . . Izhevsk Factory ‐ Russia.”
That list is not all encompassing, it's only the beginnings to a longer list.
A Saiga by any other name still smells as sweet. No matter how you dress it up... or down.
I could give 2 shits, I refuse to conform, I will not register, I will not sell. Now or in a year.
I will continue to modify, create, add to the collection.

I'd still spring for the UltiMAK and look for a rear peep sight leaf.

Well, it didn't feel quite right. The 74 mag just wasn't cutting it.
I pulled the 10rd guts from it and implanted them in a metric FAL mag body.
Now it really looks F'd up;
