  1. Guys, I have read both answers here on this. If I use Surefire mags with my 223 Saiga, a stock mag right out of the package, will it work and feed correctly? I keep reading and one will say "man I have had no probs", then I read "man they suck". Which is true? What is the consensus? If they need modification why would people buy em at 40 bucks a pop? Does this prob exist with all caliber Surefires? Thanks guys.
  2. Wigmaster, One thing you may consider in your purchase of your next caliber, your wifes ability to use a light shooting carbine, thus almost ensuring her accompanying you to the range in order to shoot "her" new toy. If she is like my wife, and when its spending money on guns she probably is, being inclusive goes a long way. If you don't feel comfortable with a drill and tap, the other way to change out that extra part is to install standard AKM hanguards. They count as
  4. Hey guys! New to this site and in search of my first Saiga, probably will buy it this weekend. My question ... its about compliance/conversion. This all seems a bit over my head as far as part count, but let me ask this as concisely as I can: If I replace the stock Saiga's receiver with a UTG Saiga Receiver Cover Tri Rail Tactical Mount, and add a pistol gripped stock, all of American make, obviously, how many parts am I off in order to use hi cap mags? Sorry for the redundancy, I know this question has been asked a bunch. Thanks for any help! Terrace has it right, check that threa
