  1. Risky, you may be right, but I consider indefinite detention of Americans so far over the line that I'd be willing to boycott despite the intentions of the company or organization that supports the legislation in any way.
  2. Shandlanos, thanks for the clarification. Well, I won't be buying their quad stacks then...good thing Mike's coming out with those.
  3. Check out the article... I will not do business with firearms/parts manufacturers who sell their souls for a buck and profit from the loss of my freedoms. I love my Surefire mags, but I will not be buying any more of them or any other of their products unless someone here can explain to me why I'm overreacting. http://theintelhub.c...raid-equipment/
  4. You're thinking too hard about this... If you want to run any American mag, then just remove the magwell and slightly modify the bottom of the receiver. This has already been discussed in the other thread. Thanks, I read the other thread. But can you do this and reinstall the Russian magwell later?
  5. If that's true, then we're stuck with one five-round mag and whatever other mags we can find at over $100 a pop. I wonder if this version becomes available in the US (without the offending bottom rail) if someone here will start making mags to fit, or if more will be imported.
  6. You can still use US made mags...they just won't activate the LRBHO. I asked this because Tony Rumore said that modified US mags tend to fall right out of Russian magwells when using heavy loads. So I'd rather change out the magwell and have a reliable gun. Of course, if the Russian magwell mags ever became available over here, I'd have no problems! So does anyone know if it's possible to swap magwells without permanently changing the gun? These versions will be collector's pieces even as shooters.
  7. So since the Russian magwell mags are so hard to come by, is it possible to reversibly remove the installed Russian magwell and replace with a JT Engineering magwell and use with US-made mags?
  8. Wabo, where are you located in Ohio? I'm in the Dayton area and have a converted Saiga-12 with some bells and whistles I might be willing to sell.
  9. I have the Enidine on my Saiga-12. I've never had a misfire with slugs, buckshot, or birdshot. The recoil is substantially less--it really works well. The only downside that I've experienced is increased trigger slap as the tube spring returns.
  10. I'd take a scope as a partial or full trade for the Thompson...I'm looking for a good scope for my 6.5x55 deer rifle, so if anyone has something in a variable power range of 3-9 or 2.5-10 or something similar, just let me know.
  11. Price lowered! This is my lightly used 1927 Thompson .45 acp in great condition inside and out. I need some extra cash and don't shoot it much, so you get a great deal because it needs a new home. It cycles perfectly with ball ammo with no FTFs. For those of you who haven't fired one: it is heavy, but because of the weight and 16" barrel it recoils and sounds similar to a .22 mag. And it is incredibly accurate! It comes with one GI surplus 30-rd mag which functions perfectly but is missing some bluing. Since it is the WWII model, it does not accept drum mags. There are two small di
