    mag.conversion

I have a 12 rd Galil mag that has been converted. You can pick these mags up for about $20. I'll try to post pics later. Nathan
  2. Where can I get sights and maybe a recoil pad for the buttstock? BTW: I have not shot my 12c yet. Do I have to use hi-base magnum rounds, or can I use teh cheap low-base #8 shot rounds?

    Cobra Sights!!!

Yeah, the cross hairs on a Kobra show up great on a bright sunny day.
  4. Well, I have spoken to a dealer who is selling these Saiga 12C's and he agreed that the parts need to be replaced. Why take a chance, that's the way I see it. If you roll the dice and lose, you are looking at a big time felony.
  5. What the person selling them on gunbroker does not tell you, is that you have to add 4 us parts to the rifle to legally own it. So, you better make sure your FFL is also a gunsmith. Most people replace the FCG and the pistol grip. That will give you your required number of parts. Of course that will add about $75 + labor to the price of the gun. My Saiga 12C is sitting at my FFL right now because there are no US FCG in stock anywhere right now. My red star arms FCG does not work in the Saiga. Good Luck!
  6. I paid $100 for a Red Star Arms FCG, and my gunsmith says that it won't work. Which FCG should I use? BTW, this is on a 12c LEO rifle. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the replies. I already have one inbound to my FFL. I guess he will have to keep the gun until I get the parts. He is also a gunsmith and will be able to change the parts out for me. Thanks for the advice! I'll post pics when I get it.
  8. I'm a newbie to Saiga land Do I have to add US parts? Which ones? If these rilfes can be sold to the public, why do I need to modify it? Thanks!
