  1. It would have been pointless for me to bring up the 922r violation with him. Pretty much every gun store around here does this crap (my sporter Saiga 7.62x39 came with an SMG 30-rounder, my S-12 came with a ProMag 10-rounder, my S308 with two SGM 25-rounders - all from different local stores! ) and when I tried to warning them before, they either don't believe me, argue that it only applies to importers, laugh it off, etc. Sigh. How much you reckin' they will realistically go for? So, are guys here buying up S-12's as investments? I kind wish I had enough loose cash to do it myself.
  2. I was at a small local gun store yesterday. Saw what looked like a brand new S-12 sporter with a ProMag 20 rd drum sticking out of it. Looked at the price tag and wham, it's $1470. I asked the guy who was filling in for the owner if this was some kind of mistake or a joke. He said: "No! It comes with a lot of stuff!" -What kind of stuff? -The "totally awesome drum", four 12 rd stick mags and 100 rounds of buckshot! I smirked and told him that that's not nearly enough "stuff", at which point he informed me that they are extremely rare and have now been banned. Anyway, I found this amusing
  3. Quick payment and very friendly, communicative person to deal with. Recommended.
  4. Hi guys, I've noticed that Centerfire Systems is no longer doing the pre-orders for these. In addition, they removed the ETA date from the product page, as well as product pages for the SGM stick mags. I don't like this! I really hope that SMG is not canceling the production of these drums (or their Vepr 54R 20 rounders) in lieu of the importation ban.I would think that, considering that they must be late into the R&D process at this point and the number of Vepr-12s already in the country, that they would at least do a limited production run. However, I don't know what's involved in ma
  5. UPDATE 07/23/14: EVERYTHING IS SOLD Hi guys, I am looking to sell the following Saiga-12 drums. NOTE ABOUT SAIGA-12 DRUMS: These drums are designed for the Saiga-12 models without a mag well only and WILL NOT WORK in the mag well equipped Saiga-12s, Vepr-12s or Cantamount Furies. Due to the liberal manufacturing tolerances causing slight variations in mag catch sizes between different Saiga-12 weapons, both MD Arms and ProMag ship their drums with generously oversized locking lugs and fitting instructions which involve filing. They might lock into your gun as they are or they might requi
  6. Added pics and dropped the price for $50 (shipped). If it doesn't sell for that, I'm just keeping it. Thanks.
  7. SOLD Hi guys, I have a Promag 10 round Saiga-12 drum for sale. It's in like new condition. It's been taken out of its packaging, loaded and inserted into my shotgun just one time, but I never even took it out of the house. I threw away the packaging, so you get only the drum and the fitting instructions paper slip. It didn't need any fitting for my gun. It's covered by ProMag's life-time warranty. I will not ship this drum to the following places: Alaska California Colorado District of Columbia Hawaii Illinois Maryland Massachusetts New Jersey New York Asking price: $55 $5
  8. Hi guys, I have always kind of wanted to get a 12 round "nutsack" drum for my S-12. Saw one on sale at Cabela's and picked it up. Long story short: after I've appropriated it and threw away the packaging and receipt, I discovered that it's actually a 10 round drum! I had not idea that they made these! Any way, I've now picked up a 12 rounder at an LGS and instantly noticed that it's EXACTLY the same size as the 10 rounder. WTF is the point of 10 rounders, anyhow?!? Legality in some states? So, the question is, since they are the same size, might it be possible to mod the 10 rounder to take
