Federal is good ammo. I experienced too many duds with Remington and had 25 year old ammo in GI ammo cans which worked better than the new stuff and the bullet didn't slip off the round. The ammo case is also good after I experienced a loss of ammo when my basement flooded. Don't forget barrel heat. I heard from a Yom Kippur and Six Day War veteran telling me how he fired the Browning .30 cal machine gun until the barrel was glowing red hot and he could see the bullets going down the barrel.
