  1. I'd thought about a left hand conversion, but I shoot my Saiga left handed. The charging handle in its current location works very well for me as it is.
  2. I got my parts from Dinzag Arms last night. great quality and they fit great. I managed to finish my conversion in about an hour. I'm taking my "new" AK to the range now for a trial run.
  3. Looks cool, but I'd be afraid it would bounce all over the place and never be accurate.
  4. Thanks for the info! I plan to start out by adjusting the sight. If that doesnt work, I may try more drastic measures.
  5. I think too many people think you only have the freedom of religion as long as its a christian one. I belive that freedom of religion includes freedom from religion as well. Like it or not, more people have been killed in the name of god than any other reason.
  6. I've had a Saiga 7.62x39 for about 2 months now. Love the rifle, its everything I could ask for in a quick handling carbine. I've noticed that i consistently shoot low and to the right on all of my targets. About 10 inches to the right at 50 yards. My eyesight isnt the best, so I had a another shooter mess with the gun some and he says my front sight is canted. After looking more carefully, I can see that its canted too. Is there anything I can do to straighten it up? I guess I could move the front sight post over to compensate, but I'm worried that I wont have enough adjustment.
  7. I really like that NATO stock, but i see that the sling swivel is on the right-handed shooters side. Is there any way I can move it to the bottom of the stock, or to the left hand side?
  8. Personaly, I try not to set my handguards on fire, so I let mine cool down after every 20 rounds or so. I really like the factory saiga front handguard, so I intend to stay with it for now
  9. I'm new to the forum and new to Saigas as well. I bought one at a gun show yesterday (7.62x39) and found this forum when looking up info on the rifle. I'm still learning the ins an outs of 922 compliance and trying to decide if I want to do a conversion on mine. Good to meet you all!
