  1. Tony, I'm interested in a Flash Hider for a non-threaded Saiga-12 as well as TWO bayo lugs...Not to mention some BIGGER Saiga-12 MAGS!!! MadDog in GA
  2. Sure here is the fix: Get a polishing wheel and compond for your dremmel. Take the top cover off the gun and cycle the action. Note the area where the bolt hits the hammer face when you pull back the bolt. This is the area that needs to be polished. After you polish the hammer face and the bottom of the bolt to a mirror smooth finish the gun will take less force to work the action. This will cure the problem of the bolt not traveling far enough to the rear to eject the empty case. I have cured a Saiga-12 and a Saiga-20 that both had stove-pipe jams with this fix...MadDog Please let

  4. Jeric, M.O. is on the way for a standard BHO kit w/spring! Thanks man...MadDog
  5. I passed on a NIB Saiga 308 for 199.00. I went back to get it and they were sold out...Maddog
  6. I'm waiting on the owner to respond as he ordered the stuff I just helped him convert the gun...
  7. Correct. The Tapco SAW PG has two holes. Use the rear hole on the PG and the old rectangle trigger hole as they match up perfectly. You will need a new longer bolt and nut...MadDog
  8. Here is a Saiga 20 that I helped convert (thanks Alan) with a Tapco Side mount/red dot scope. How much lower do you want to go than this? You have to remove the mount to get the dust cover off...MadDog
  9. Although I think that 40.00 is too high I would buy a couple. Think of Glock +2's at 10.00 for two vs Saiga +2's at 80.00 for two...
  10. I had to square up the PG hole to allow the PG nut to fully drop in the hole to be able to reach the bolt. Work on the hole or the PG nut until it fits! Also, on the last two conversions that I have done (S20 and another S12) I didn't cut the hole at all. I used a longer bolt and used the back hole in the Tapco grip and the hole that is already in the gun. Everything matches up great and I saved the time required to cut the PG hole...MadDog
  11. You are welcome! Be sure to SHOW US THE SAIGA when you are finished...MadDog
  12. Take the screws out, put the stock in a chair and sit on the stock. Then wiggle the barrel end of the gun while sitting on the stock...
  13. How about the hinged top cover...
  14. Thanks Cobra! That BHO is for a Saiga 223 rifle as the Saiga-12 BHO is different! The GI type FlashHider on the 19" Saiga 12 was made by Johnny M from this board. I need to get Johnny to make me another FH for the 22" Saiga-12. Thanks MadDog
  15. Polish the front face of the hammer and the rear portion of the bolt where it rubs the hammer with a dremmel and polishing wheel/paste. This made my folder run folded where it would only run on the shoulder before...MadDog
  16. I need a Bold Hold Open and spring for my new Saiga 12...PLEASE
  17. I bought my 1st Saiga 12 (a 19" threaded barrel w/bho) from The RSR Group (or at least one of my dealer friends ordered it for me)...MadDog
  18. This is not mine I just saw it posted at sturm... http://www.sturmgewehr.com/webBBS/parts.cgi?read=136117 Great conditon Siaga 12 cut down to 18 1/4" with 7 five round mags and two pouches that hold 3 mags each. Will not split up the package. $595.00 obo plus actual shipping.
  19. The Saiga 12 has found a NEW HOME! Thanks Ken... MadDog p.s. If you want a Saiga 308 Ken be da man! p.s.s Sid you might want to check on a GUN SAFE. At least that would stop the smash and grab crowd. You can get a low end one at Walmart for around 100.00 and BOLT IT TO THE WALL/FLOOR. Inside a small closet works best! I feel for you man...
  20. Ken, PM and email sent! I'll take the Saiga 12 and I am in GA... MadDog p.s. call me (my number is in the email) THANKS!!!
  21. Thanks for the C00L pics Roman and welcome aboard! MadDog
  22. I'll jump on the bandwagon and am good for at least 4 mags; however, this is not the 1st thread to get the Saiga-junkies hopes up! If you can make the mags happen you will have no problem selling them on this forum...or EGAY MadDog
