  4. Although I don't bumpfire the Saiga 12 I can dump the entire mag before the 1st shell hits the ground - WITH NO PAIN. I don't believe that bump fire could be any faster than my trigger finger with the G2 FCG...
  5. The Saiga 12 has the least recoil of a 12g shotgun that I have ever fired. I have two pumps (Rem 870 and Moss 500a) and they just sit in the safe since I bought the Saiga 12. I had the 870 setup with dual pistol grips until I shot it a couple of times. Then I changed it to a pistol gripped full stock that was much better. The Saiga 12 is so mild in the recoil department that I can shoot it ONE HANDED. It does not hurt one handed! I would not attempt that with a pump 12g. p.s. I polished the hammer face and the underside of the bolt with my dremmil. Now it functions WITH THE ST
  6. Yes I received the same letter from Marko. At least I can stop holding my breath when I check the mail box!!! I do find it wierd that he said that he would send my mags on Monday or Tuesday when he didn't even have them yet. I thought he had them in stock when I ordered them as the original post stated 'in stock.' What other choice do we have? Buy another Saiga 12 just to get another freaking magazine??? I believe him - when he get's them he will send them...Maddog
  7. Well I won't worry about it then as I'm just not used to waiting on packages to cross oceans. No PayPal either. Also, I'll bet they all arrive about the same time!!! Thanks for the replies gentlemen I feel better already...MadDog p.s. Johnny, I'm ready to order one of your famous S12 FLASH HIDERS...

  10. My guess...since they sell the Knoxx stuff a converted Knoxx 12g drum for the SAIGA!
  11. The gun runs GREAT on your shoulder both B4 and after the conversion. It's only a problem with the stock folded and shot non-shouldered. I could not try this senario before the conversion (unless I tried it with the stock OFF the gun). I really can't see how the conversion changed anything except a mucho better trigger pull. I guess I can try polishing the hammer face because I do have a new hammer in the gun as part of the FCG replacement. I am using the same hammer spring... The bolt does not come all the way rearward. Maybe 1/2" short of a full stroke. p.s. I CAN operate th
  12. Converted it myself! I'll try some SOLID STUFF! Will yours cycle with CHEAPo 12G birdshot?
  13. The only problem with the Saiga 12 is while the stock is folded the empty cases will not extract most of the time. I tried both gas settings and no luck. If you open the folding stock and shoulder the weapon everything works fine. With the stock folded (or when I shoot the gun ONE HANDED yes one handed) most of the time the bolt will not come back far enough to eject the empty case. I'm guessing that it is like limp wristing a pistol. Also, firing the gun ONE HANDED is a breeze. Unlike a pump shotgun the SAIGA does not hurt your hand at all!!! I am wondering if with the folde
  14. Notice the '1' and '2' at the bottom corner of each mag? Also the bottom 'rib?' I have both kinds of mags although I beleive that the feed lips are the same on mine...
  15. Operate Safety lever while folded - NOPE Operate Trigger while folded - Yes Left folder - sling swivel is on the RIGHT side Sight question - don't have a clue as I don't have a scope w/rail for it.

  18. Bass player hun? At least your keeping it in the Rhythm section! Too bad I play drums...here is a quick shot of my kit...
  19. I used E clips! I thought about drilling the block; however, I had to fit the block and hammer it in anyway. Therefore, it's so solid already it does not need any more support. I also picked up the plastic Hillman plugs but don't need 'em. I'll save them for the NEXT SAIGA that I am going to convert...
