  2. What front grip options area available for the saiga 223 that dont require smithing... http://www.dinzagarms.com/furniture/tapco/hg_fusion_blk.jpg what all do i need to install something like that? and what other good options are there.. thanks
  3. The BHO isn't necessary for function. A lot of us leave it out of our conversion routine. When that writeup was done, you had to really 'do it yourself'. The 'cutting pipes apart' was the first part of making your own bullet guide. Today we have Dinzag ok im getting less worried.. lol so i buy this http://www.dinzagarms.com/misc_parts/fcgpgc.html then i get a pistol grip and harware.. suggestions? i get this.. https://www.gilbertsguns.com/Clips-Magazine...agazine+US+Made nj has a 15 rd max mag capacity (do i just get one part for having a US made mag?)
  4. ok i just got done watching the video series and it looks WAY easier than the written out one.. i have a couple questions.. why does he skip the bolt hold open in the video and is it much harder to finish with that part what is the deal in the written up conversion where hes cutting pipes apart and all that... i saw nothing complicated like that in the video..
  5. http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/index.htm Enjoy! thank you.. i think that for now that is beyond my ability.. but maybe down the road...
  6. ive been looking through the site all morning and im starting to understand things a lot better but am still missing some things... at first i considered the tapco stock with pistol grip setup but am starting to see that converting the gun is a "better" way to do it... now im SURE there is a thread on PG conversion but i simply can not find it... how hard is this? i have decent mechanical ability (working on cars and things like that) but am new to the firearms world... once i figure out what im doing for pg i will have a couple other questions.. thanks a lot for the help..
