Csspecs, good idea but probably not...most shotguns have mag tubes so their thread is much larger in diameter, I'll try to get a human at RAAC next week

Too bad the ar10 lower is missing the feed/guide that is at the front of the akdal lower, you would need that cast in the ar10 lower 80% before trying to make an ar 10 lower work on an akdal

Can you figure out a mounting system NOT using the stupid stock nut? It's made from poorly made aluminum on a steel rod Mine overheated, expanded and now is useless, I'm waiting for a replacement from RAAC if they ever get back to me

So I was doing an little endurance test on the Akdal 1919...I was around 100 rounds in 10-15 mins, getting the thing nice and hot...when the front nut that holds the forearm blew off. It appears that it took on alot of heat (its aluminum) while the operating rod is steel, so the nut took too much heat and shot off, damaging the threads Anyone know what thread pitch this is? How can I call RAAC to try to get a replacement? any ideas?

I just got my shipment of Firebird Gen2 mags a couple weeks ago Who do I couple them together? were they supposed to ship me some kind of connectors? I didn't get anything other than the mags

The problem is that Firebird isn't selling their quad rail separately outside of their conversions Expensive gamble given that the firebird system isn't that much more. I'm thinking of getting a knock off to play around with and then if it is sound step it up to higher quality. I'm thinking amazon airsoft special or something.

S12 forum, what do you think? Could a VLTOR CASV forearm be made to fit an Akdal 1919? The inside diameter of the Akdal might be a bit narrow at the hardware, but maybe some simple dremeling might get it to clear. Its mainly supported by the top rail, so you wouldn't need custom mounting hardware for the Akdal, yes there wouldn't be a delta ring for it to lock to, but it might just work One other thing is that the top rail might be too short, as the Akdal 1919 reciever is longer than an AR15 i'm guess, but time to go to the gun room and do some measuring. Any thoughts?
