i have a ton of that crap...shoots okay but would like to use wolf over the norinco as far as steel core mine all stick to magnets but you have to know the hardness of the steel core to see if its ap... just like steel cased wolf ammo even thought the case is steel it is soft steel so.... yha unless you send the core to some one with a rockwell hardness tester and it tests over 30 on the scale its really not going to be ap.

So I got my guide from Dinzag and went about installing the hell out of it.... first problem was I never tapped anything so I think I over stressed it and it broke in my gun... shitting a brick I got to thinkin.... maybe the tap was made from crappy medal... so I took the auto punch and went at the broken tap in the hole and after a couple punches it split the tap and it fell out!!!! yay!!!! so then i started to tap again.... and it busted again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow you guys must be like me and not have a doctor that will give them Ambien lol but yha to answer your questions.... it did not strip the bolt paint or the paint on the thread nut at the end of the barrel... just on the reciever... at this point after giving it some though... I really dont care all that much... now i can throw this thing around and not really care... so I wont paint it back maybe cold blue it so it doesnt rust over but other than that who cares it still works like a S12 should. I'll try to take some pictures with my phone but I'm not sure if they will turn out..

So just messing around the forum and seeing how it works... So ummmmm being a evil ninja that i am and running out of gun scrubber i decided to have a look at what else I had laying around to clean the S12 with... I used break cleaner to clean my Nagant 91/30 after shooting the corrosive ammo and it workerd out great since break cleaner is like 99 cents a can vs 12 bucks for gun scrubber .
