I searched around and couldn't find anything on here to answer my question. I am a new owner of a saiga 7.62x39 sporting rifle. I live in NY. I want to buy more 10 round magazine. Do I need to make it 922lr compliant if I get regular AK47 metal magazine? Online they are selling them in a 3 pack and new production for the price of 1 saiga 10 round magazine. I read that I need to get a bullet guide to use the AK47 magazine that I understood. Should I buy American made magazine or are the AK47 metal magazine are ok? And are there any 922lr compliances need to be involve?

Hi people, new to this forum. I just got myself an Saiga 7.62x39 sporting rifle. I saw an AR magazine conversion kit. I know it only works with 223, but shouldn't it work also with the 7.62x39 AR magazine? Because AR15 7.62x39 magazine a lot similar to the 223/5.56 AR magaizne, but just in 7.62x39 caliber. Shouldn't the adapter conversion work with the AR 7.62x39 magazine also? Any input?
