  1. So seeing as that there has been some drama and always doomsday talk her I have some good news I don't post here to often but I check in every few days and have been a member for more than a couple years. So I thought I would share with all of you that I am indeed excessively drunk at this exact moment and I have 16 hours and 45 minutes until I get married. That is all, have a good night.
  2. My 223 saiga and my RIA 1911. Maybe my security six too. And maybe my mosin? Bugging out would be in a vehicle might as well grab everything I can...
  3. Puzik how much heavier is the MOE handguard compared to the factory one? Or is the difference negligible when handling?
  4. All that was before I started shooting. I have never bought one of ruger's firearms new, I do have a security six in stainless that I did a straight swap for a glock. Really nice revolver heavy but smooth as silk
  5. My dog has lots of drool and gas, but he certainly loves us.
  6. I'm currently in a Union have been for about a year now. Being in an unlicensed trade the only accreditation I can receive is a Journeyman Certificate through my union. There has been plenty of work in CT for me and haven't been laid off except for trade school. Most of the other companies on our sites are the same. We all know what liberties we can take with each others work, if not ask the closest plumber or electrician etc. As far as the whole break thing I can see their point, we always have a break area setup in one spot, and nothing is more annoying than a pipe fitter cutting threads r
  7. Has anyone tried the new Magpul ak handguards? The long one, the zhukov looks pretty tight, but I don't wanna she'll out a hundred bucks for another handguards I won't really like... opinions? Maybe I'll try the regular length but I would need a lower handguards retainer(donations accepted... [kidding. Sorta]).
  8. That looks pretty baller. Definately a mod I haven't seen before and a fresh idea on this forum. Nice job!
  9. If all your firearms have picatinny rails. If none of your guns have wood stocks or grips. If you think stainless steel will blow your cover but a 400 lumen flashlight wont.
  10. Remember to budget and plan for holsters and ammo. A good holster is usually worth it's price. Before you settle on a tokarev, you may want to see what options you have to carry it in as well.
  11. I'm pretty sure the handles might be on the top of the plane, and the plane is upside down... not 100 percent sure on that though
  12. Or you could always get one of the humpback smith and wessons... hammer is shrouded for Pocket carry but still accessible for single action use if that's how you prefer shooting. There are alot of grips on the market that will make a jframe grip larger and easier to hold but will make it harder to CC it. If you want to carry discreet it is always easier with something more compact, and you could always keep something with more firepower in your car like a carbine of some type.
  13. Sweet looming truck. Wish I had a reason and funds to modify a ride like that
  14. I have a basic full size RIA 1911A1. Probably my favorite handgun to shoot that I own. I am also much more accurate with it than anything else I have owned. It's a little heavy but I carry it iwb with out problems. It's a lot lighter than my tool pouches at work.
  15. Bought a s&w model 36 used for 150... all the blue is missing but the action and barrel are still flawless... and traded my gen 4 glock 22 for a ruger security 6 stainless 4"
  16. Nice catch chile! I'm lucky if a catch a couple snapper blues where I am. ..
  17. Fffpatriot is logged in right now. Even though I never posted all that much I was a regular lurker. But my one saiga is set up the way I like it, and I can't buy another one because of the laws where I live. So kinda kills the fun of planning the next rifle if there can't be one.
  18. I think your looking to fix a problem that isn't a problem that's my 2¢
  19. I hope I wasnt saying recklessly spraying, just that you should know your natural point of aim. Think along the lines of shooting skeet or trap, you don't focus on the sights you focus on your target. Same allies with playing paintball, I never used sights, I used the side of my paint gun to line up my shots until I learned where I was shooting. But as I said earlier you have to used what is comfortable and effective for you to use
  20. They make lots of things that are worthless, doesn't mean its a good idea. You have to shoot with what is best for you for the scenario that you plan on using it. I wouldbe willing to bet that most people who use a gun in a self defense situation barely use the sights. More of a point and shoot sorta thing. But you are looking for answers that we can't answer, you have to find out for yourself. Same thing with buying a gun, you can ask for all the recommendations in the world, but at the end of the day the only thing that will decide what is right for you will be actual experience. If a laser
  21. As far as lasers, they are cool, but not practical, and when I've used them I spend so much concentration on that little red dot that I shoot worse than just aiming the gun. Get a set of night sights, will be the next investment for my RIA.
  22. I shot my rock island last night. First time shooting a 1911 since I was 13, and now question why I ever bought a glock. I'm not a great pistol shooter, and it was nice to see my groups with the RIA were about half the size of my groups with my glock 22. Only fired 50 found but had zero malfunctions or failures. Was shooting Winchester White Box JHP.
