  1. This one was custom made just for me, but I believe Michael is gearing up to build more of them. Check out his business section. He's got a new website now. It's a three piece unit that threads onto the factory threads and seats against the gas block. Son of a.... You always seem to knock them right out of the park bro. THATS an AMAZINGLY BADASS S12. I think it deserves a killer Knife to go with it.....hmmmm. Maybe we'll have to do something about the 'project' you and I spoke about awhile back,....shhhhhhh. Dont wanna ruin the surprise.
  2. Hi guys... I'm looking to trade off a few of my guns for other guns. I am looking for a Regular or Natl. Match M14/M1a, I am looking for Converted Saiga 410s and Converted Saiga 12s, & I might possibly consider HK91s or PTR91s. If you have any other trade ideas, let me know....Oh I also would like to trade for a 5.45x39 AK at some point for one of my 762x39 AKs or something else. I am looking to trade off my Converted Saiga 308 plus cash, or my Saiga 20g PG Conversion plus cash, or my Nightwatch III AK47 Pistol plus cash for any of the above guns. Now for pics.... Here we have
  3. Yep....makes everything run better and smoother. I personally dont prefer to polish the bolt carrier becuz its a dead giveaway....literally. As you guys know I make knives for a living, but doing gunsmithing is so much fun, its mighty hard to resist. And yes, Eric Draven IS my real name.
  4. I'd be inclined to agree. I have 4 plates in my AKs and Saigas. Its worth it for sure and very easy to do in the field. Also, if you want more than one fo these plates and have a bandsaw, just for buy some 1/16" thick sheet metal or mild steel and trace the first one you bought and cut out a few more for yourself using the first one as a perfect template. Maybe I need to post a tutorial on that too.
  5. Hi guys. First I want to say, I am not by any means an AK expert or a gunsmith...but I have done a very nice BASIC trigger job to a few of my AKs. I have shot them after doing each one and they shoot ALOT better and ALOT Smoother. It takes all of about 20-30 minutes (at the MOST) and its more than worth it. I use Cratex which is a diamond dust impregnated rubber compound use for polishing. I dont use Sandpaper becuz anything more than Cratex or something similar may take the FCG out of Spec....and you DON'T want that. IF you DO use Sandpaper, use a HIGH HIGH grit like 600grit to 800grit or hig
  6. Hi guys... I currently have two or three 7.62x39 AK47's and I want to have another 545x39 AK74 in my collection. I am willing to trade straight across for one if someone has one. So if anyone has a 545x39 AK they wanna trade for one of my 762x39 AK47's, let me know. I have an Egyptian Maadi and a Chinese NHM90....I also have an AK Pistol from Wiselite-The Nightwatch III in 762x39, that I might be willing trade if all things are right. I would prefer an Arsenal 545x39 AK if possible....or a Polish Tantal. Please email me if you have any offers or suggestions. soloronin@connpoint.net
  7. Nice AR...wish I had what you were looking for. Taken care of by a Marine and a Great custom paint job...love the alternating colors look. AND for reference purposes...the M4/AR15/whateva is a great rifle to have for a survival kit anything of the sort, you are likely to encounter .223 ammo alot of places, and if worse came to worst, its 5.56 NATO twin brothers would be around too. If someone has an AK to spare...you should.
  8. I saw a 500rd case at my local gunshop for $289.99....$225 shipped isnt too bad. Oh and by the way...Semper Fi. Thank you for your service sir.
  9. You open to trades?? Ak Pistol, PSL, HK USP.45 fullsize?? A dog thats crazy or a cat that has issues?? Ive got some cash, but not hat much. Then again, with the political climate...maybe I should hang on to the AK Pistol. Anyways...trades??
  10. I gots one...you need the front wood too??
  11. No dealers, no FFLs. And no I am NOT a felon. I just want a few in my safe that Ive bought FTF too. Let me know whatcha got...(541)973-3202.
  12. I'm looking to sell this Wiselite 7.62 AK Pistol for $800(plus S&H) or trade it for Fixed/folder stock AKs,Converted Saigas(12s or 7.62s),RPK Yugos or fixed stock Yugos. Got an AK you wanna trade me, make your offer. Always open to Arsenals and I have some cash I could throw in if you have one thats more rare. This one shoots GREAT, Ive run about 3 mags thru it with no issues at all!!. It comes with the Drop case below it, 2 30rd steel mags and a 5rd mag. Pics......sorry about the weird shadowing, it doesnt really look like that. The finish looks like the bottom pic. = = =
  13. Damn, I shoulda asked you that earlier today.
  14. Ummm...Carbide bit?? Thats what I use to drill out Heat treated steel and Ti. They cut well, better than anything else, BUT they can be brittle so dont bend them or, SNAP!! Try McMaster Carr. They have good prices and a good selection. I make knives for a living...and Thats what I used for my S20 conversion. I used my Vert. Mill for most of the rest of it, rivets and such.
  15. Ok,I looked thru the search and couldnt find anything. I want to know if the Arsenal Version of the Saiga 7.62 is an Izhmash(sp?) Saiga?? Is it the same as the other Saigas except for the Arsenal conversion?? I see 'Legion Izhevsk Russia' on the side of them. What the sam hill does that mean?? All the saiga marks are there...they even say Saiga on them. Answers?
