  1. heres my mini-draco, first of the stock is not fixed to the pistol. where im from its ilegal to own a sbr . having trouble loading up video clip from photobucket. just want to show video only, any help appreciated
  2. Do you get any cheek-weld with that stock? Which rail system is that? Does it sit low enough to co-witness with AimPoint Micro (or clones)? What is that pistol grip? Thanks. dont have a cheek-weld for the original folding stock, just wrapped it with some nylon rope which is good enough for me. the rail system is from fab defense "VFR-VZ aluminum rail system" which i special ordered through the mako group, had to do a little modifying for it to fit. unfortunately does not sit low enough to co witness. the pistol grip is actually from the tactical sporter stock which i had lying around an
  3. CZ USA did stop importing these, mostly because of the century parts kit builds at about 1/3 to 1/2 the price. The CZ imported guns all came in without bayonet lugs or threaded barrels, as 100% Czech-built guns. actually czechpoint u.s.a was the actually importer for the vz58 for cz-usa at the time. cz imported guns did come with original threaded barrels, but of course with less than 16" had to have a permanent muzzle attached to meet requirements.
  4. been a while since i posted here, and since then picked up a some new toys along the way norinco tok 213-a, double stack magazine spring field armory 1911 glock 17L 2nd gen. cz custom shadow
  5. congrats on your purchase, and at that price you got a good deal. i heard cz usa pulled the vz from their line up of firearms. they are an awesome firearm natural point of aim when shouldered and comfortable, way more than my chicom aks. and pretty accurate, heres a pic of a 20 round continous shot at 50 yards using the sparc red dot
  6. had my p07 since april of 09. its a da/sa the single action is awesome very nice trigger pull. for the price you will not be disapointed. some pics this is 10 shots at 7yards
  7. you should pick it up. just picked up my first sks yesterday did some research and found out to be a sino-soviet type 56, and that magazine hard to find, saw one on gunbroker buy now for $80.
  8. i would make the trade, anyway so many 1911s to choose from on the market. but the norinco is a good trade considering they dont bring em in anymore, i had a nhm90 in .223 but traded it for a pre-ban colt 9mm carbine. but i still got my norinco pre-b 84s-1. heck i even traded one of my marlin 3030 for a colt 1911 mkIV series 70. im a big fan of the norincos, serioiusly thinkin of gettin one of their 1911s. before the trade my nhm90 .223 w/plum furniture which needed some shaving on the stock/lowere hg/ to fit, and allot of muscle to twist the upper hg in, but it can be done
  9. jg sales has a boat load of aks and their variants to choose from well within your price range, heck the vz 2008/vz58 from century goes for $699 including 500 hundred rounds of brown bear 7.62x39 ammo, not bad
  10. wow a vz58 with all those accessories, if i did not have one already i will be all over that. you might wanna check jg sales under the reviews of customers that have purchased them, all positive about their purchase. may not be chrome lined but i would still pick one up over a yugo underfolder asny day
  11. cz phantom 19rounds cz p07 16 rounds heard both are accurate and reliable but the p07 seems to bee in your price range at about $400-500 heres my po7
  12. heres something interesting to bobble your ak minds, the chinese type 81s translate on left column http://perfiles.elgrancapitan.org/index.ph...a&Itemid=49 http://world.guns.ru/assault/as71-e.htm wow not even the standard type 56 ak mag will fit, its totally different
  13. im a big fan of the chinese variants as i have 2, pre-ban and post-ban. bothe range guns since the early 80s and 90s for tourists to shoot, still chrome lined and still awesome shooters. but found some interesting info about the type 56 here ya go http://www.warboats.org/mst2Bremmer/Stoner...rhtml/AK-47.htm
  14. thanks guys, yesterday went to a local gun shop and they had a cz75b for sale for $350, i got to hold it it looks to be in very good condition i might just pick it up. is this a descent price? might offer him $300 n see what happens
  15. just picked up my cz p07 in 9mm couple days ago, my impressions are fits my hands like a glove, very light, trigger is awesome no creep at all and a very light trigger pull, my first 10 shots from the p07 @ 21' then at 25 yards with some cheap reloads, 10shot
  16. ive always admired the milled receivers with that type of thumbhole stock/color, nice. for original parts you might wanna search polytechparts
  17. wow thanks for sharing. yes i would like one vityaz in 16" barrel semiauto please. could you imagine if they would bring these in, i would pick that up over any ar15 9mm, hell i would even give up my ar15 for that
  18. congrats on your bolt action looks good and love the color, i recently picked up my first bolt action also its a cz527 varmint kevlar in .223.
  19. update, last year a friend of mine was sellin his under folder ak, so couple days ago finally picked her up shes a little rusty but hey it has character. according to the owner its been sittin for like 10-12yrs, all these years and the rifling still shiny as hell. did some research more on the rifle and oh boy shes a keeper. its a norinco 56s-1 pre ban the last four digits match the last four on the bolt carrier, and has SILE .Y. N.Y. on the receiver heres some pics then gave her a lil bit scrub down
  20. $895 is not bad at all especially when dealing with czechpoint=quality. also compared to the vzs prices on gunboker, crazy. and to consider the the panic craze goin on now, have you seen the prices on the ak47s on gunboker? id rather purchase another vz58 over any ak right now.
  21. they are awesome rifles, you should pick one up. just recently tried 100 yards with a red dot boy can she shoot
  22. thanks floyd, thats one thing i love about the ak it has a huge aftermarket support info, accessories etc... and you could kit it up anyway you like. i just went nuts but be careful it gets addictive as i also have plum furniture for my norinco this is how she looked when i first picked her up
  23. my first ak, norinco in .223 i thought it was an ok variant, until i held and shot my friends yugo under folder. after handling both aks the norinco is on my top list, you just have to hold and fire one to know. the trigger is awesome actually bettter than my stock ar and vz58. almost canceled the purchase on the norinco cause when i looked down the barrel it had so much crud in it. this ak has been sittin for like 10years according to the owner. but my friend who has been into guns for 20 plus years told me go get your cleaning rod, he ran it through the barrel couple of times i was in s
