I like my saiga .223 I dont know about being perfectly accurate, but I have been able to hit a 7lb cat litter jug, 2 or 3 times out of 10 shots out at 200yds since that is the limit of the range I go to, and that seems more than fine for me. That cat litter container just a tad bigger than the average Head I would guess. I am not that great of a shot to begin with either, but if I had to lay down fire, I think it would work.

I see the avg price on Gunbroker is around 399, I dont feel so bad getting mine this time last year for 275. Now just need to do some stock mods and I can use the 15rd surefire mags I have been getting.

I got my stock Saiga here in Jersey Last spring for 275.00. No mods done yet. But since I did get 6 Surefire 15rd mags, Will have to make some mods.

http://www.jocoemprise.com/rifles/saigamag...23magazine.html they also carry them and always seem to have them in stock, but are a little more pricey. I get the 15rd frome them, since I live in NJ.

I also live in Jesey. To make things simple I left it stock and I have the Skeleton Stock that I have not put on yet. I then just got a bunch of Surefire 15rd mags, and thats all. http://www.jocoemprise.com/rifles/saigamag...23magazine.html

Not yet, but I ordered two since Surefires are getting hard to find. Fett This guy is real good and gets them out pretty quick. http://www.jocoemprise.com/rifles/saigamag...23magazine.html

http://www.jocoemprise.com/mm5/merchant.mv...ategory_Code=SG I believe you can use the surefire mags without any mods, as they count as 3 US parts. This is what I have done, since I also live in Jersey and limited to 15rd mags.

From what I read the plastic surefire mags will count as US made, therefore I should be ok then.

I have heard several things regarding surefire mags. As I live in NJ are the 15rd mags OK to use on an unconverted saiga .223?
