  1. Well, either he was lying or you are lying as flamethrowers aren't DD's. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> McUzi is right. I used to own a WWII M2 flamethrower and regularly shot it at the creek as I'm one of the guys whose helped run the flamethrower range with David Michael (THE flamethrower guy, I'm just the skinny guy in the nomex tanker suit..) They are not considered DD's and I have a letter from the ATF tech branch confirming it. No federal transfer is necessary, as far as the ATF is concerned, they are oversized water guns... could have something to do with the fact that the
  2. Sorry Caspian, my fault, I should have been clearer Here is a closer pic that I resized.....
  3. The barrel was cut using a really big pipe cutter, a few spins on the barrel and ....pop!.....shorter barrel. The trigger guard is an original Saiga 12C trigger guard purchased from Tantal, I still have the one removed from the gun. I have a better, more close up pic, but I need to resize it first, I didn't realize the camera was set at 1600X1200 until after I took it.. Might take a while to load for dial up users.
  4. Have to give a huge thanks to Caspian who did all the work, I just stood around and tried not to get in the way.. Used button head hex screws for attaching the triggerguard. The stock is a US made "NATO" length from K-VAR corp. SAW grip is from Tapco. Caspian has a unique way of cutting the barrel down, but I have to admit it works well.... Thanks again Caspian! BTW, he also cut down the barrel on my SAS12, I'll have to get a pic of that too as it looks pretty cool now.
  5. Well rats, thanks for the tip on Dunhams, I called the one down the street from me and though they do carry it, their price is $179.00... Got a link to a flyer or anything showing the lower price? Thanks.
  6. Bad news for those of you who were looking to get one of these from S.O.G., they are out of the SAS12 and don't know when they will receive more. Since my favorite (read, cheap transfers) dealer pretty much only buys from SOG, AIM, and CDNN, I would appear to be out of luck...... I know AIM doesn't carry these, anyone know if CDNN does?
  7. Just FYI, I ordered two Saiga 12's from CDNN yesterday, they said they still had more in stock but that they were selling extremely well.....
  8. I'm interested in one of these but don't see the gentlemans email/contact info listed anywhere on the gunsamerica page. Anyone have his direct email address? Thanks.
