  1. Too bad you're not in Virginia. I've been trying to sell my 16" Saiga along with a bunch of Silver Bear ammo for a good price.
  2. Found one for $499 shipped, and since my dealer owes me a transfer on the house that's not too bad a deal. Arg now I just have to decide between that and a Garand.
  3. Guess I should has gotten interested in the 308 Saiga a couple years ago when they didn't cost an arm and a leg Is $600 about the going rate? That's all I can find at my local toy stores.
  4. I'm planning to use standard AK handgaurds with my Saiga and I was wondering if it's neccesary to replace the gas block in addition to the gas tube and handgaurd retainer?
  5. Dinzag's website says you have to cut a notch in the barrel for the locking lever. How did you go about this?
  6. I'm thinking about replacing the gas tube on my Saiga so I can use standard AK forearm furniture. This brings up two questions. 1) Will any AK gas tube work or just the ones off the Dinzag Arms website? 2) Will any AK handgaurd retainer work or do I need the one off Dinzag Arms website?
  7. I'm almost done with my conversion, all I have left to do is shorten the magazine catch lever as described in the Cross-Conn instructions. http://www.cross-conn.com/Saiga_Conversion/step_10a.htm I was wondering if anybody had any before and after photos of doing a similar thing to their 7.62x39 Saiga? I don't have a dremel so I'm going to have to do it manually with a file and I don't want to fudge up the rifle for good.
