  1. First obake, your avitar is amazing... Seems like the price changes faster than their barrel.
  2. How did I guess you were going to suggest the Kobra?.... :0) I love my Kobra. BTW nice avitar.
  3. It will cost you more than twice. An m500 used, can be found for $150. I bought one for $125 at a gun shop. I sold the stock and for the same amount purchased a syntetic pistol grip and forearm. In the end it's a cheap and easy to hide zombie killer. Right now on gunbroker, you can get a saiga 12 19" for $550. "Buy it Now". I just did this as I had sold my recent converted build for a down payment on a truck, and made a bit of a profit. I spent $80 on conversion parts and will now have what I just recently sold again. Now with that said. I teach a firearms class at the company I
  4. These things (drums) end up falling under some sort of DD ruling, would they need to be serial numbered?
  5. I've seen 60 year old loaded mags fire. I wouldn't be too concerned.
  6. Worst/best case I've had with UPS: They cracked a small engine block! I shipped an old vespa scooter motor to a shop for a rebuild as I didn't have the time to do it myself. The shop said the box looked like it fell from 20 feet. The crank popped through the box so hard it cracked the aluminum case! Good thing the shop suggested I insure it for $1,500. A few weeks later and a couple calls I received my check.
  7. Funny you mentioned this. I just ran into it on the field. Strike another win for the SOG tool while riding down the road in a truck.
  8. Those drums look tasty, no?
  9. NO! THE FOREARM LOOKS TO BE ONE PIECE THAT REPLACES THE ORIGINAL! AAHHH!
  10. Well, all I can do is agree with you on the Kobra.. I have one and absolutely love it. It's my #1 choice.
  11. My answer was going to be: No you don't want it. You want to pass the deal to me so I can buy my second.
  12. How could you overlook that! True AK enthusiasts live in a metric world. Sheesh!
  13. Question: Is there really a benefit of adding a double hook trigger over the single hook? Any time I had a receiver with a single hook, I bought a US made single hook for it. Just curious...
  14. If you want to convert, you'll need to go in it 100%. It will require some manly actions like cutting and grinding. It's really not too bad. If you're the type to have someone else mow your lawn you might want to stay away. Otherwise we're here to walk you through the process.
  15. To answer your question, yes some grip nuts are slightly different sizes. I've seen everything from a blob with a threaded hole to a nicely cut block. If there is some play when you put the nut in, it should tighten up against the back of the trigger guard.
