  1. this video is kind of long but it shows how bad things have become nowdays. it does not matter who you are, if the "LAW" sets it's sights on you that is the end of your rights. even if the "LAW" is wrong. http://videosift.com/video/The-Largest-Street-Gang-in-America
  2. it's funny that all the yankees say that chili has beans and all the TEXANS say without. being that we TEXANS are closer to the source of the original dish in question i wonder who might know more about chili? beans are ok on the side and cornbread or corn chips and cheese are the norm, maybe extra onions on top. every chili contest i have ever attended here in TEXAS would not even consider an entry of chili with beans.
  3. why do you need such a heavy bullet? my sagia favors a lighter bullet, 150gr +/-. this pig was shot in the head with a silver bear 140gr SP at approx 90 yards. stock saiga with open sights. dropped where he stood. he field dressed at approx 100lbs to 125lbs and is good eats.
  4. I second the brown bear ammo, mine loves the stuff.
  5. "They" will do what ever "they" want without any thought about anyone else or what is legal. We are children in their minds and "they" know what is best for us. I think you should start carrying 20k and tell them you were on your way to the range to shoot todays ration of ammo.
  6. What I learned when I first took my 19" S12 to shoot clays is; set the poly choke on full don't use the sights, point and shoot make sure to lead the target if it's moving Once you practice these you will be hitting the clays enough to impress anyother shotgun shooter.
  7. I've thought of this myself. I thought about making jig that you could put the bullet in and take just a small portion of the tip off to make a softpoint and you could drill a small hole and complete the hollowpoint. I was thinking of doing this to the .308 and a 9mm to make expanding rounds out of full metal jackets. It will be intersting to see what someone with more bullet knowledge has to say about this. I heard that in the old days cowboys would cut a cross into their bullet to make it expand, fragment better.
  8. If you add any stock with a pistol grip to the S.308 without doing the conversion you will be disappointed in the trigger pull. Do the conversion then there will be a wider selection of stocks for your Saiga, at cheaper prices.
  9. In the beginning God gave man the knowledge then the Devil came along and said Let me organize this knowledge and you can call it Religion.
  10. Howard wrote the Ten Commandments, you know "Our father, who art in heaven, Howard be thy name."
  11. ItsOnlyMe, you'll be hard pressed to find a Sagia in a gun store around here. I looked up and down the panhandle and the only one I saw was at a pawn shop in Amarillo, it was a X39 and I was looking for either a S308 or S12. I don't think you will be disappointed when you recieve one you had to order online. All you need is a FFL to recieve it for you, mine charges $25 for the service. Good luck on you search.
