  1. I would not want to be him when he faces his Maker. I suspect things will not go well for him.
  2. It's in Pakistan. It will be used like a guided missile to kill our troops in Afghanistan or otherwise used against the West.
  3. So under 5 seconds per round easily. May take another look at those then. Doesnt replace a 22 but sounds worthwhile. Ditto. Got my summer supply laid in already without touching that which must not be touched. I'm expecting a shortage and continued high prices for 22lr as the weather breaks out West and in the North. More people will then shoot their AK's and AR's raising those prices somewhat as well. My guess is I'm going to get real familiar with my new Colt LE6940 5.56 rifle this year. It has a monorail system. I went with the Colt rather than the Rock River
  4. Bingo. It is used for professional networking. Most people find a job through others they know in the business world. Just like Facebook, everybody is trying to shake as many hands as possible to widen the net just as career professionals advise.
  5. The cheapest 22 lr ammo listed on Slickguns right now is Eley is $0.36 a round. I cannot believe the run on this stuff. You can get .223 or some 5.56 ammo for about $0.42 a round. They can keep their 22 lr rounds for now.
  6. Nicer AK's can be had. I had one I sold to a police officer. No cant or other issues. A great beater and will fire every time. That said, I would put my money into a Saiga for conversion or higher end AK unless your intent is to beat it and leave it in the trunk or truck. My 2 cents.
  7. Happy Birthday Makc & Lorrie! Hope you both have a great day!
  8. Looks like this one might have killed herself over the bitcoin fiasco: http://www.cnbc.com/id/101468694?__source=xfinity|mod&par=xfinity
  9. That boy was raised right. He has the heart of a good man at age 8. God bless him and his family.
  10. Got my 6 in the mail two days ago. They have a definite odor. Smells like oil, metal and maybe fuel or chemicals? I can't tell for sure. My son said no thanks. I'm going to try washing them and then treat the leather tabs. Right now they are airing out.
  11. The knowledge base is great here too. There are guys always willing to help out and stickies with information on your weapon. There is even video of the conversion process if you like. We have great vendors with all the parts needed at a very competitive cost. Welcome and stick around.
  12. Congratulations Photoguy! Children are a blessing. I became a father after 20 years of marriage. No regrets here. They grow so fast. My twins will be 20 in July.
  13. That would have been horrifying duty. Obviously it stuck with him the rest of his life. Bless him for doing his duty and helping to bring our boys home. War is not glorious but it does reflect the character of men. Our thanks to your grandfather for his character and service to our nation and his fellow Marines.
  14. If you really want to do this, you should have asked him to bear with you, not bare with you - unless you intend for the two of you to visit a nude beach. Ouch!
  15. Guys....Guys. Why so surly? Is there something in the water today? Be nice to each other.
  16. Check out our vendors offers on Saiga's and conversion prices. They are competitive and reputable.
  17. Why would they care how much it will cost? They are so far in debt, it will make Detroit bankruptcy look like a .22LR compared to the czar bomb......... You'll have to forgive me. I'm from the private sector where such liabilities are mitigated by compliance or the lawyers get involved before costs skyrocket. In the public sector no one is held accountable. Silly me!
  18. Hot cheese! Oh the agony! That might heal in a year or two. That dude has got problems way beyond a burned dick.
  19. They'll be sorry. The big wheel will go round and round. If something happened to a family member or to myself I smell a major lawsuit citing high probability based on individual records and documented rates of recidivism within the State. A jury is likely to agree and award $$$$ if the crime is bad enough. Of course nothing can compensate for permanent injury or loss of life or even a major beating within an inch of your life for that matter.
  20. Sounds like a scam with the last guy holding the bits has nothing. Pyramid?
  21. Thanks for the heads up on the link. I was trying to link to the ad page but that does reveal the email address.
