  1. +1 Feedback for lewie212. I recently bought a Saiga223 MSA/TAD ar mag adapter from him. Good deal and good comms.
  2. What about just putting blocks in the 20 rounders?
  3. I got a rough quote from a guy here in washington state that I found online for 200 to 240 for moving the FSB back and threading 5/8x24. I welcome the chance to learn, but I hate the idea of breaking something I love. I'll probably ship it off. As far as breaks/flashiders, I was eyeballying those BABC 2.0's. Pricey, but for recoil control when rapid firing, may be worth it. Maybe a PWS 30 or just an AAC blackout. I've also considered the YHM flash hider as I'd like to get a suppressor now that they are legal here in my state. I'll get it figured out and put together, and when I do i'll
  4. One of the guys on here put a pseudo galil together using an old norinco 223 sporter ak, and he used what looked like a 24 oz tallboy beer can to line his tapco galil handguards. I may have to get a couple, for prototyping of course.
  5. I remember seeing those from some other forums, rhymes with fourier spock. Are they finally shipping those to mere mortals now? Also. That is the the most beautiful ak rail I have ever seen.
  6. Has anyone done this? I'm trying to analyze cost differences between shipping off my S308, threading it myself for 17x1, or buying everything and threading it 5/8x24. I just remembered that I read somewhere, someone had a muzzle break re-threaded. Or re-tapped or whatever. It seems like that would be much cheaper and easier. Thread the S308 myself for 17x1, and then just rethread the Flashhider/break/doodad. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this, thanks.
  7. Here's a rehash of what I put in the chest rig post. Gratuitous CSSpec 308 Saiga Mag porn. These mag pouches are HSGI Taco's with the duty belt adapter. They are normally molle pouches. Run about 45 dollars each and 20 for the duty belt adapter. Super durable. On that note, I do love them, but they are a major PITA to get the CSSpec's Saiga mags in, mainly because the lugs. That being said, I've never been timed putting a mag into a pouch . The other great thing is they're multi purpose. I can put my Bulgy Circle 10 5.56 mags in here, my magpul 308 mags, any of my pistol mags in the fr
  8. I like chest rigs, but I don't like crawling on the ground with one on. I've got the gear to make my own kydex holsters, but I'm still working out the design on them to work for the CSSpec's mags, but I ended up buying some HSGI pouches and I love them. I do like kydex better, but these will work great as I've got a few different platforms with different mags and it's nice to be able to just suit up with whatever and go train/fight off the meth zombie horde. I ended up getting the double decker taco mags, which optimizes belt space. See attached picture. I've got the duty belt adapter for an e
