  1. I have used PayPal as well using gift option I would use it again I have used USPS mo and even personal check I prefer for my own stuff that I sell to receive USPS mo but imo the bottom line is as for a "safety net" buying anything online from an individual you are taking a chance of never seeing the item. Even from sights like eBay your taking a chance that's why feedback is important even on forums
  2. This article sums up my opinions on all of it http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/what-guns-would-the-founders-ban/
  3. I could try to explain the difference to you of the s12 and the aa12's and such but i dont know if you will understand the difference in them more to the point if they are going to make s12's dds then it will be all of them not just converted ones so you better sell now so you don't have to deal with it they would have to change rulings on all firearms to consider the mag on the s12 unsporting its 5 rounds in imported sporter models the s12 is under size requirements the only thing it has against it is that it has a detachable mag again they have made plenty of exceptions on im
  4. they also state earlier that detachable magazines were a common exception with rifles and again this is with importation not us made components illegal to import not make on us soil
  5. I don't think so it would be illegal to import yes once it is 922 compliant its us parts not imported parts plus they even stated in thier that they have made the exception for detachable mag

    Uh Oh...

my plan is to wait for all the people who panic bought thinking they could turn a profit to realize they are not going to be able to sell them for 3grand each and have to sell them cheaper because they cant pay bills and buy that new car with all their profits
  7. grips are all about preference for the authentic look i would go with the plastic ones personally i like comfort and i love the hougue grips i have hogue grips on 5 or six different guns and their great IMO.

    Uh Oh...

not meaning to offend people by this but all the talk of this person being thier and i talked to this person who was thier it is still just people able to make stuff up I mean my buddy who i trust was at the same meeting with the tooth fairy and the easter bunny and they are wigging out cause the atf said they cant use their s12's to protect themselves because they are now dd's \ do you believe me i said it on a forum so it must be true my only question is again why haven't people in the industry posted anything about it it is still all forum talk from what i can find
  9. I reload for everything that i shoot and when it comes to cost it is cheaper to reload depending on where you can get supplies. Just like everything else out there you have a wide assortment of prices for materials and that is where it comes down to being cheaper or not if you go buy everything you need from the most convient place it may not be cheaper than the bulk packs at walmart if you are willing to work at it then you can be rewarded greatly. if you factor in your time it takes to load them and that is the way you are going to look at it i wouldn't bother in my opinion you shouldn
  10. just a guess here but it might have something to do with the hammer and how it interacts with the carrier causing some hold up is it stove piping, not trying to eject or getting caught sideways

    Uh Oh...

in my opinion it doesn't do any good to speculate its the same as conspiracy theories they are going to do what they are going to do and we are going to do what we need to keep them or give them up what i mean is your going to give in and let them have them or your going to bury them or get the proper paperwork submitted and you know yourselves what catagory you are no matter what u say on here and telling everybody what your doing on a public forum isn't going to help you when and if they did come knocking here is some more speculation for you though purely entertainment n my opinion tho
  12. well got out and shot it cycling 1250fps shells now consistent on 5 still having some fte's on the low recoil buck but i can live with that if i open up the other ports i think i will be over gassing it just to get my low recoils to work by the way i didn't check exact measurements on factory ports but they were smaller than the 3/32 bit i used to drill the 3rd the crazy part of the whole thing to me is how it worked with the factory plug with only the 2 ports but its all good just need to order some drums now
  13. well i can assure you had you offered me two drums to send my gun and plug to you from the start i would have probably fell down running through the snow to get it shipped anyways my 12 is no longer a 2 port model but just became a 3 going to go and give it another go this weekend fortunately for me i have a gun range 2 mins from my house at a little park let the kids play on the jungle gyms and go shooting 75 yds away I will apologize up front for getting back on the original topic since everybody is having so much fun
  14. Sorry to spark a war with the issues i was having just trying to figure out what was happening like I said it was just some problems and i am used to having to tweak stuff for any of the saigas if i happen across something that i can simply drop in without some modification it's a bonus to me not expected i started working on the ones that i have owned and sold and owned more of back when we still had to make everything work so all of the people who started making parts more available i appreciate you greatly it is just my luck that they usually are not drop in equipment for me which i am not
