Awesome man I'll have to put up some pics next of my .45 barrel on the Kimber.

Hey brother hit me up if you think you might want me to hook it up. I'm thinking of adding this and a few other firearms to my section for parts I'm doing polishing work on. Also the Mosin Nagant.

She turned out sweet Jake. You and Storms work well together!

Thanks! That's Max my spotter.

We were bench testing quite a few rifles with different handloads that day and sighting in some scopes. Wasn't really using it for dampening recoil, just as a bench rest.
Now with that said, it was pretty nice to have for sighting in the Mosins and the 8mm Mauser.

Man it shoots like a dream... a wet one.... splooosh LOL

I wish it was mine! It belongs to a good friend of mine. Such a beauty indeed. I'd love to own one some day.

It's actually my buddy's camera. Yes it's very very nice. He makes his living with it. http://www.flickr.com/cameras/canon/eos_7d/
He's as good a shot with a pistol, rifle, or shotgun as he is with a camera. Bro has an impressive history as a pro photographer so I really enjoy shooting and taking pics with him. Here's his site... http://www.georgezickl.com/music.htm

Thank man! I like it.

Thanks bro. That was a very uplifting moment that carried on from that point forward, when Sandi brought it in the berdroom and watched me unwrap it in bed. She had no idea what the UPS guy had just brought either. We both had no idea til I read the get well note that's written on the back and signed. Pretty damn cool....
Thank you Trent and Devin!

Any chance of a front picture so that I can see how the heat sheild matches up with the LHG? This looks good enough, that I am tempted to do the same on my IZ108. Also what bracket are you using to hold your LHG?
Check out the new thread I started (finally) in our business section late last night. It has a close up pic there. PM me if you want anything special.
The Lower HG retainer, as described in the biz section post, I made from an AK retainer, back before there was anything like that out.

If you want to put your rifle in something that will assure it doesn't get stolen, you put it in a safe. If you want to carry the same rifle with you on the jobsite in a rough part of town, and aren't stupid enough to leave it sitting anywhere unlocked or unsupervised... ya put it in a sawz all case. Makes perfect sense to me... Am I missing something? After all it works almost like a sawz all in rapid fire...lol.

It's a Tapco that I customized.

Most of these are not the real Jolokia pepper. Most are habinaros which are still hot but nothing like jolokia peppers. Not to say these ones aren't the real thing.
Well I reckon we'll find out pretty soon... hehehehe

These are very hard to grow for the noobs. Good luck and I had a great crop last year.
LOL!

SWEET bro! Factory threads, can't beat that for good luck! Does she also have the cutouts for lower HG retainer and PG nut? Extra Y stamp?
Congrats!

Looks great man! I really like that grip. The Krebs combo and heat shield will finish it off nicely. I like it. Nice and simple. Very clean.

How does it shoot? Not bad at all with the right ammo. The 150gn. FMJ Wolf ammo seems quite accurate in mine. Also the recoil is surprisingly mild, but it makes-up for that by being incredibly loud.
I was able to repeatedly pop milk-jugs with no problem out to 300M (have not got the chance to try longer ranges yet) with the original 4X scope mounted. Sadly though, I've only bore sighted the 8X scope so far and will finally be able to zero it in when all this frigg'n snow melts.
And yes it's a Rom rifle. Even has the bayo mount (from what I've read I believe that means the barrel was pulled from the military assembly line) although they ground the tabs off as usual. Then again, that can be fixed if I decide to have it done.
Looks sweet man, is that furniture refinished? Mine is a honey gold color.
I want to find a way to add a bayo lug to mine.
Ssssssss!

I carry this one John when I'm not carrying my .45. I'll let ya know how it holds up but I don't see it getting any probs from just normal wear. A good polished surface is IMO better than a blued finish for durability. Seals the surface and it's raw steel so no finish to lose from there.
