  1. Horry Sheeet Mon!!! Dayyumm adding this one to my file of "Chile's Recipes" right fuggin now..... Ahem, yes of course I have one lol. You have as much fun cooking as I do bro.
  2. Heads down and horns up! That man was so badass he will rock on forever. Rock In Peace Lemmy!
  3. Mark I hear what you're saying brother and have wondered the same. Back when we first got into the Saiga game 10+ yrs ago they were a lot more affordable and available. First thing I did was set out to have at least one of every gauge and caliber, then started buying or trading for every S-12 I could find a great deal on. Still have just a few still NIB in varying bbl lengths, importers etc. Don't plan on selling them really because I've been careful over the years to mostly collect distinctly different models or variations, such as the first dimpled x39 with the extra Y stamp marking the FA s
  4. OMG Gaddis really LOL!? Thanks guys for the B-Day wishes for Sandi, she hasn't been on the forum in awhile I'll have to tell her y'all thought about her! Even Gaddis LOL... Although she and I are not actually "together" anymore we are still great friends and see each other pretty often. As a big bonus she and my new gal & partner Michele are also friends. For those that don't know her she's a member here and goes by: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/user/50264-mshell/
  5. I'll be taking my Vepr 12 in the woods tomorrow. Got it scoped now and dialed in at 75 to 100 yds with Brenneke KO's.
  6. Good advice above... When you get your new FCG from me it should eliminate some of the problem and definitely have a smoother pull.
  7. Guys we stay incredibly busy. Getting on the computer to email people "updates" is about the very last thing I have time to do. It is a huge waste of time and energy trying to stay in email contact with every customer who is wondering how their parts are looking at any given time so please forgive us if inquiries about that go unanswered after the first few times... I did change the wording in my ad back in February from where it used to say expect a month to 6 weeks wait time if not done in two - three weeks. Wait times get longer when you start out the end of a long line. I have responded
  8. Thanks it's been a real good one! About the same model used in The A-Team. '78 C-10 with a 350 crate motor upgrade & HD suspension / towing package. Great for hauling about anything & hauling ass too...lol. Oh and of course ...
  9. Looking forward to a great weekend here too. My Dad brought me an almost 9 lb bone in pork shoulder picnic for my BDay last week so I'll be smoking that badboy all day today while my best grillin' buddy and I have some good times here on the range. I'm putting a killer dry rub on it right now actually... I'll also be smoking a fresh picked batch of red and yellow Habanero peppers to use in a kickass batch of hot sauce I'l be bottling next week. Hit me up if you want to try some! Also planning to grill out Sunday and eat some fresh bacon wrapped doves from Saturday's opening day hunt! By
  10. HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I can just see that Joe!! Thank you sir!!
  11. Oh God really? Are we still competing for most troll filled drama queen forum on the whole interwebs OddManOut? Have you obviously forgotten your OWN rich history in the art of trolling here? (as mentioned above by another member, but I am sure has been felt by many...) And referencing another post above.... WTF is up with the need for the same kind of drama that has driven more and more good members away from this place in the 11 years I've been a member than any other forum besides maybe barfcom (who's banned members seem to come straight to here where they can post all the drama they w
  12. I'm sorry I didn't think of the BHO when we were talking on the phone, that seems obvious now. I was just sure it was an alignment problem being caused by improper reassembly. Also sorry the OP had to get frustrated with fighting with it for two days and start a thread before I knew he was having a problem and called him. I am usually very quick to respond to questions. I was out of town on the first small vacation I've taken time to go on in 5 yrs. Glad it all worked out though and the weapon is back together working much better than before. YOT here are a couple of pics the OP sent me
  13. HA now that's a fire on a cake there! We made some good fire balls yesterday on my range, had a blast! Then fired up the grill and ate some fiery chicken and fiery hot peppers! My new Carolina Reapers are gonna make some very kickass HOT sauce this season! Thanks everyone for the B Day wishes! Here are some pics from yesterday's fun and a couple of the Reapers.
  14. Thanks a bunch y'all! Got my brothers coming over today, one of whom shares this B Day 4 yrs younger! Gonna fire up the grill and hit the range for some good times!
  15. Welcome back Chevyman. I hear ya I hardly ever get in here either any more except to answer PMs. Life can be very busy by itself... especially the first half of the year for me. Boats are... well a friggin blast when they work. When they dont... BOAT = Bust Out Another Thousand...lol. Taking on a true fixer upper though and actually succeeding in getting and keeping it on the water is a very rewarding experience. Years ago I rebuilt, fiber-glassed, and painted an old home made wooden bass boat and got many years of enjoyment out of it. Boy did that thing ever turn heads going to and
  16. Just a bit of recent history here for anyone who doesn't understand the issue of said flag and it's history. It can NOT be lowered to half staff by law. They got what they wanted already having it removed from the Capitol Dome. Now leave it the hell alone. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation/2015/06/19/why-south-carolina-confederate-flag-isn-half-staff/A6Y0b9SZqqtHqzH2SFk6CM/story.html
  17. True Was definitely not trying to start a pissing contest with you GunFun. That kind of crap costs me even more time I don't have when I'm supposed to be working on parts. I do hate seeing the results coming through my shop on a regular basis because people got in over their heads after reading some tutorial or watching some video. No doubt they cost me lots of work all the time even though some ends up here eventually anyway, but that still isn't my main reason for not wanting to post or see DIY stuff posted here for this one particular critical operation I happen to know about well.
  18. Whoa brother back up some there I'm not trying to chastise you for helping folks. What I'm saying is there are some things I think are wrong to throw out there on the open web for just anybody to take on. Certainly a few critical things to do with this particular job that ANYONE attempting to do so needs to know first ALL the risks involved. That isn't likely to happen with folks who often come here the same day they get an S-12 then grab a dremel and start grinding away. Yes I indeed did give some advice very early on about hammer and B&C profiling. It was not until I did start doin
  19. Hey just to be clear here I wasn't fishing for business, but more so expressing a hard learned opinion on putting out DIY advice all over the web for just anyone to read one time then get overly excited and end up ruining a part or even worse, creating a very dangerous situation for some unsuspecting person who has to deal with the aftermath. It may not always be the one who mods the parts either. What often happens is after someone goes all DIY on something they end up selling it on the web to someone else who has no idea what they are getting, or what they might be in for... I get parts in f
  20. Hey a piece of advice that cost me an S-12 bolt to learn... STOP trying to do this yourself and save up the money to send to a pro who has experience. GunFun it's awful nice of you to try and coach these people through re-profiling and polishing their irreplaceable parts but seriously bro... These newbies are not aware of the dangers of doing this kind of modification and do not have the experience, knowledge, proper technique, or ability that only comes from experience to know exactly how far is too far on the 4 to 6 main critical surfaces. But I guess you can just keep on happily
