  1. Patriot has the right idea. Without a Constitutional amendment, THE NFA IS ILLEGAL! All gun control and registration laws are illegal. Whether or not they are a good idea is completely irrelevant. No fucking FFLs, no background checks, no registration, no restrictions on carrying, openly or concealed, hell, no fucking age limits! The constitution says that a 12-year-old can buy a glock18c and carry it to school on his hip. Does that sound like a good idea? Fuck no! But it is what the Constitution says, and any law which contradicts the Constitution is invalid. Being an adult
  2. I have to disagree. Russian arms are designed to be abused, and continue to function. Nagant revolvers were made in such huge numbers that it's hard to lament the loss of several thousand, much less one. I've been meaning to pick a few up, but I'm always working back-to-back doubles when the gun shows are in town.
  3. I have a Comp-Tac Glock19 holster, but it is a slightly different style from the one pictured; instead of one large clip in the center, this attaches to the belt with two smaller clips, one on either side. I've since purchased a retention holster that I like better. The Comp-Tac holster is in like-new condition. If you're interested PM me. I only have a crappy webcam, but I can take a couple pics if you'd like.
  4. The Winchester Universal is crap, but many Wal-Marts also sell a Federal Multi-Purpose Load; my Saiga has no problem cycling their #8 shot, and it's priced in the $20-$25 range for a box of 100. If you're firing outdoors, it's the best value I've found. If you're firing at an indoor range, typically only 00 buckshot and slugs are allowed. They'll hit your wallet a lot harder, you're best off finding a deal online. ammunitiontogo.com sells some relatively cheap buckshot.
  5. I'm glad you posted these videos. I had intended not to purchase a drum, since it is a large amount of money for what will be, effectively, a really fantastic toy. Well, that's a hell of a toy and a hell of a value, and I'm impressed both with its quality and your integrity. As soon as I have the spare cash, I'm ordering one of your drums!
  6. Hmm... It occurs to me that if the Surefire mag body is similar enough to the factory design, a factory follower/feed lips might be modified to replace the Surefire parts. *If* that worked, it seems like it should feed the Russian steel shells beautifully. I just stocked up on the Russian stuff, and I'm very glad you posted this review! Stopped me from buying a Surefire mag that would have been useless to me. As for inserting a 10-round AGP mag on a closed bolt in your 12, it can be done. It's a bitch, and sometimes the feed lips will pop off and dump your ammo all over the ground,
  7. I have four magazines made by Promag; two P38 magazines, and two .50AE Desert Eagle magazines. The P38 mags suck balls, and the Desert Eagle mags work flawlessly. It is unfair to attribute a wholly negative reputation to Promag; their products are hit-and-miss. Their quality (and, often, lack of it) is completely inconsistent. I'll be with the rest of the throng, waiting on the fence for reviews.
  8. AmmunitionToGo rocks! I made a $250 order from them about a month ago, and everything came in about 4 days, packed well with no mistakes. The Rio Royal buckshot, however, seems to suck. I ordered 100 rounds, and just tried it out in my Saiga yesterday. Out of the thirty rounds I fired, I had 8 misfeeds; I had no problem feeding Federal and Wolf buck the same day. It might just be my gun, but I'd recommend ordering 25 rounds to test before buying in quantity.
  9. I have 3 AGP ten-rounders, and have put about 500 rounds total through them (50 buckshot, 50 slugs, about 400 various birdshot), and haven't had a single problem. I have, however, knocked the feed lips off my factory 5-round mag when trying to seat it in the mag well, resulting in all five shells spilling and the ground and the feed lips hitting me in the face. After reading the post about rusting mag springs, I removed the baseplates on all my Saiga mags, cleaned the springs and sprayed them with gun oil. In my experience, AGP mags rock!
  10. Tony might be able to do that. No Bullshit. No kidding. Have you seen pics of his "over the shoulder boulder thrower"? Check out the Tromix Projects page... If he thinks of a crazy (read: awesome) weapon, seems he just goes out and builds it. I call dibs on the second Tromix-converted Saiga .50BMG.
  11. First post, just joined the forums! I've owned a Saiga-12 for right around 6 months, and I love it. Still in its straight-out-of-the-box configuration, with 3 AGP 10-round mags; I hope to eventually give Tony Rumore a big pile of money to make it truly beautiful. I voted for the 16-round double stack, because I'm primarily interested in high-capacity, even to the detriment of practicality. I want the mag for plinking and shooting clays out in the woods. What I really would like isn't and probably never shall be on offer; a stupidly bulky, awkward 30-round double stack mag. My second c
