  1. Nope.........and Hussein Obama wrote openly in one of his books about how he liked to spend time talking extensively to them outside of class. Not a big surprise there.
  2. +1 As long as there is a firm enough fit that the head and handle dont come apart during normal handling and throwing then its good enough. If you need a woods tool then get a woods tool................a throwing 'hawk is just that......a THROWING 'hawk. They are made to be thrown and back in the day were often used for scalping. Not really made for any other use.
  3. Here is how it turned out in NC......... Obama/Biden (DEM) 49.70% 2,123,332 McCain/Palin (REP) 49.38% 2,109,586 Barr/Root (LIB) 0.59% 25,418 WRITE-IN 0.33% 14,195 Had some dumbasses NOT wasted votes on Barr and an unbelievable 14k+ write ins McCain would have won here. Makes me want to puke. He would have won in fact if only the write ins had cast the vote for McCain. Damn..........I have been sick over this shit all day.
  4. Hard to believe that there are that many morons in this country.......enough to vote that dipshit into office. Gun show next weekend........I plan to be there.
  5. I go along with the x39 having more stopping power also. You do not always have the opportunity in a combat (or self defense) situation to get a clean head shot. Plenty of soldiers in combat have complained about the 5.56 not having stopping power or being able to penetrate obstacles like brush, walls or into vehicles to take out bad guys. This has been an ongoing complaint since Vietnam when the M-16 went into use. Thus the reason the US govt is looking to upgrade to a weapon that fires a better round. The 7.62x51 (.308) is becoming quite poplar again especially with SpecOps guys. Plenty of
  6. Thats one of the many reasons I do not shoot on my own property..............too many nosy people around. People that post things about what guns they have or how many etc............not a good idea. No one knows about how many of or what kind of guns I own or have owned in the past but me. Not even close family members. You just never know who will squeal or how the govt will figure out what you have.
  7. Yeah........I was gonna order a part from a big, nationally known, mail order parts place for a 1984 Camaro..........until they asked me if it was a 2 door or a 4 door. I just hung up on the guy.
  8. I wondered what happened to him..............poof he was gone. When will he start on FOX?
  9. Threecard............I love your avatar. Aces High........ That being said, I also recieved one of those dvd's. I had already known most of the stuff they talked about on there. The one thing I didnt know was the Hitler/radical Islam connection during WW2. Not really surprising though. There is another movie that came out more recent by some guy in Europe. Its focused more on the impact radical Islam is having on Europe but I have heard it was good..........just cant remember the name of the movie or the guy either for that matter.
  10. It depends on the situation I guess. If its for the home then maybe 12ga shells with the stabilized bean bags.
  11. I voted thursday. I voted McCain although I dont really like him. BUT.........Im sure Barr doesnt stand a chance so I couldnt bring myself to vote for him. I wanted to do what I could to help keep Osama from being our next prez. Even though Im not crazy about McCain I feel his is far better than Osama.
  12. +1 I alreadyhave atig machine and I also gave access to 5 other tig machines at work. Its certainly not cheap to get into and not worth the $$$$ if you dont plan to use it a lot. I got a good deal on an OLD Hobart CyberTig or I wouldnt have one myself. I learned on an old Miller stick welder that had been converted to tig.......scratch start only. That was fun but Im glad I learned that way. It made welding with a real tig machine seem easy.
  13. I love Nagants...............damn fine rifle. Nagant is a pistol btw. The Mosin-Nagant is a rifle. Nagant Pistol t Mosin Nagant Rifle Not trying to be an ass, just hoping to steer people away from using the wrong terms. It could save you the headache if you order one on the phone and see another. The topload with the Garand and other rifles of those days were nice because of loading from the prone, but I agree that the list is a bit off. Im fully aware of the proper name.......I have owned at least 4 of them. I never order firearms via phone.
