Thanks guys. I was actually asking for a buddy and hoping that they would since that's the type of vest he has. I'm trying to talk him into getting a MOLLE-type vest to replace it with. I'm gonna check, but hopefully some of those pouches listed above are MOLLE-compatible. Incidentally, I wonder why my "instant email notification" didn't work?

Simple, short, and sweet. Will 30-round AK mags fit in the permanently attached magazine pouches on the old Army load bearing vests (LBVs)? Anybody got both laying around and wanna check for me? I'll even say please. "Please."

If a bullet guide is installed in the Saiga, will it still feed from the Surefire mags? Is installing a bullet guide a typical modification done by those professionals on here who mod the saigas back to the true form?

I just found out there's a gunshow in my town this weekend. I also have just purchased a Saiga 7.62x39 and am in need of several 30-rounders for it. Will any AK mag work, or do I need a special one? Is there a magazine tutorial around here that I can read about which are the good ones and bad ones? Thanks in advance!
