  1. You're a Honda tech and you're having trouble with BlueThreadlocker? Try cleaning the threads with BrakLeen and try reapplying the blue threadlocker again..Red is for things you never want to take apart again.I was a diesel mechanic for 30 years and never seen Red threadlocker come loose without heat...I own a Chaos rail system and it's very solid..
  2. Whatever it takes! But that still sucks!
  3. I'm not an expert but it sounds like a bullet guide would fix the problem.
  4. You can also try Utube, They have one I've seen which was done on a kitchen table. It's really doable with basic hand tools like a file, screwdrivers, drill, and a dremel comes in very handy. It's not that hard to do. Even the bullet guide was simple when you get the kit that has the tap and drill included from Dinzag Arms. Take your time and don't rush. If you want reasonable priced stocks and grips try here http://www.directoutdoorsupply.com/ just search Tapco.
  5. +1 on that Mississippi Auto Arms has it all post!
  6. Go to Natchez shooters supply, They have the new L-N-L in stock. I can't say enough about the quality of Hornady equipment. Also buy the media separator that's fully enclosed. Really cuts down on the dust. http://www.natchezss.com/product.cfm?conte...dia%20Separator
  7. Is any other modification needed to allow the Saiga to accept the AK47 mags? I have been considering getting a Saiga in the 762x39 but would like to use my AK mags in it. The sooner you get your Saiga the better, They're easily converted to a nice AK configuration and the bullet guides from Dinzag arms are the best. It's a great investment.
  8. It's your flag,... Free speech means The freedom to speak your mind. This country seems to be upside down anyway!
  9. Hi Bill, What skeleton stock do you have? If it's an ACE Stock It requires an adapter? You might have solved your problem by now?
  10. This guy has a good tutorial page, I hope this helps solve your problem. Good luck http://www.gunsnet.net/Linx310/fcgremoval.htm
  11. That's great news! The weekend before the election I picked one up at a gun show for 359.00, I'm really impressed with the quality of these guns, for the price they can't be beat. I ordered a another one from a local dealer and their waiting on a new shipment. Hope it's soon. This is the best website for Saiga info....
  12. Metal hammering on metal only causes mushrooms. Make your own dry fire round by using a fired inert empty casing , popping out the primer and filling the primer cavity up with form-a-gasket, or any silicon would work. Then you could install a FMJ bullet in the casing at that point if you have a press. drill holes in the side for identification, file smooth and you're done.
  13. I just seen some for sale on the dpharms.com website. It doesn't give a description of what the barrel size is 16" or 20" but it's listed for about 410.00 Here's the link. http://dpharms.com/saiga-saiga-rifles-and-...437f998c5828e73 You might be able to pre-order one from your local dealer cheaper but that's iffy! Good Luck
  14. That settles it, I could have purchased a 223 off the self but I put down a deposit on a another 7.62x39 and decided to wait until a new shipment arrives. After reading about the Mag issue I'm glad I ordered the 7.62x39 version. I already have one in 7.62x39 and the conversion was a snap including the use of high cap mags. Even the cost of ammo is cheaper with the 7.62x39. I still like the light .223 but now it's staying in my AR 15
