  2. Hello, I've recently completed the conversion of my Saiga-12, but I can't reinstall the safety-lever. The trouble seems to be that the BHO prevents the installation of the safety-lever. Is there some special technique that has to be used to reinstall it? I've tinkered with it for hours without success. Thanks

  4. Here's the image. The depressions are very shallow, but I can't weld myself to repair them. I was considering some kind of filler for metal like the following: http://www.alvinproducts.com/Products/Products.asp?ID=1. But maybe there's a better solution. I also plan to have this media-blasted soon, so whatever I use needs to be able to tolerate that.
  5. Hello, I've had the receiver for my Saiga-12 machined and the superfluous holes that remain after conversion TIG-welded, but a few conspicuous but superficial depressions remain where the receiver was welded. Would it be possible to cold-weld (J-B Weld) these to fill them? Or are there better alternatives? Thanks
  6. Like so? The machining begins at the point where the tang (which is cut away of course) meets the receiver? Thanks
  7. Hello, I'm about to continue with converting my new Saiga-12, and I'd like to do it well. Does anyone know the exact angle that the receivers for Saiga-12's from Tromix are machined at? In addition to that, does anyone have any photographs of such a (completed) receiver? Also, does anyone have explicit instructions on reassembling a Saiga-12 FCG? Thanks
  8. Hello, everyone. I recently exchanged a couple of shotguns for a Saiga-12. I'm very pleased with the shotgun, but I'm also about to convert it. What I'd like to include on it in addition to the usual is a bayonet-lug to fix a bayonet. Does anyone have any suggestions for the type of bayonet? I'm aware that the lug will have to be welded to the barrel. Does anyone who has experience with this know what problems to expect? Thanks
