  1. Great job laying out that Mod !!! I was wondering about the gas reg plug covering the holes or are you leaving it out a thread. c
  2. If we all agreed what a boreing world this would be. c
  3. Since I am fairly new here im not sure if anyone has covered this or if anyone else even will find this helpfull but here goes. I find the sagia 12 bolt and bolt carrier to be a little stuborn to put back in at times and it helps to hold the trigger and push the hammer back down and connect it to the disconector to hold it down and out of the way so it does not knock the bolt out of alinment when pushing it forward. Also for those worried about the contor of the hammer slowing the bolt carrier it only matters when loading the first shell as under fire unless you are the worlds fastest expert
  4. There would be nothing wrong with recontoring your hammer as long as you reheatreated it. I have found that just polishing them very slick works very well.
  5. I agree polish is the only way to go here. c
  6. I may recover some stuff thats allready been said here cause I read over this thread real fast. I have worked over a few of these now and I believe they were never meant to shoot ultra light promo loads like they sell for nothing a wallyworld, theres no such thing in Russia I would bet. No mater what it is when I get it I drill four .080 holes which is just slightly larger than the original four hole drilling then smooth the action so it does not hang on slow return by hand. This mod will make it feed well with all but the lightest loads. I have also seen a couple the needed that gas selector
  7. Here is my saiga with its homemade buttstock
