  1. Wife went to the woman doctor and found that she is 1cm dilated; not in labor yet, but the boy could come at anytime now.
  2. Thanks, Twitch. Now that you mention that technique, I have to say that I was tempted to facepalm myself and swear at myself.
  3. This stock, to be exact: I've tried a couple of different screws, the latest of which is a TAPCO-made one that just arrived today. The problem is that the O.D. of the screwheads are too large to fit in the recess of this stock. I need some advice that hopefully will not include chewing up the screw hole on the stock to accommodate the head(you fellow guys can relate to not wanting chewed-up holes for our screws, right?). Thank you in advance for any help.
  4. As if the Dollar is worth any more in reality than a bitcoin. There's practically nothing backing up the Dollar; it's nothing more than paper credit.
  5. C'mon Photoguy, wheres the photos? Here: http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/92807-picked-up-a-new-toy-winchester-m97/&do=findComment&comment=961836
  6. In my opinion, $13K is way too much money to dump on a woman, unless you're a millionaire or a fool. That being said, good luck to your niece.
  7. Noted. I was planning on taking it to one that can cut the barrel down to 20" or so. I'll bring that up.
  8. Well, I found the shotgun of my teenage dreams over the weekend. 30" barrel; low-900k serial number says that it was built in 1943. I'm thrilled, to be honest. I finally got a piece of American history in my safe. I'll get a picture on here at some point, but I had a question for those who are familiar with these firearms: Can this firearm handle the off-the-shelf buckshot loads available today? I believe it can, but I'd like to know what done of you think.
  9. I'll buy a box or two as an investment of sorts, if not for novelty.
  10. Very nice. I wonder if I helped build the one you bought(I work at BAP, where they're assembled). Ever since the Italians came in, things have been getting more money poured into the quality of these things. My Patriot has over 75,000 miles on it since the end of April, 2011, and has not needed any work on it, other than the usual maintenance. I hope you're happy with it and get the same good fortune with yours as I did with mine. By the way, if you want to ask, I built--if I touched that one, mind you--I put together the liftgate trim. Also, I found that the factory
  11. I stopped reading that after the fifth paragraph, and I'm not sure why I took that long. All this talk about how men use intercourse to "suppress" women had me curious on her thoughts of strap-on lesbian intercourse. Who is suppressing who in that paradoxical scenario? Friggin' Looney Toon.
  12. The problem with this hypothesis is that you're trying to compare the largest dinosaur(that actually lived) to Godzilla, an as-yet fictional monster, thereby comparing apples to water chestnuts.
  13. I saw the trailer in the theater over the weekend before "Smaug"(which was great, by the way). The final 10 seconds of it gave me goose bumps.
  14. One of the most terrifying aspects of this plane is its ability to glide in on a target without its twin engines being engaged. An earlier post mentione the psychological impact made just by the A-10's presence. Imagine the psychological trauma instilled when one of these ugly ducks pops over a hillside on one of these silent gun runs. That is, if you even survived at all. I never believed it could do that until I saw it with my own eyes at an air show in Milwaukee, back in 2005. It was spellbinding.
  15. Looks pretty badass. http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=QjKO10hKtYw&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DQjKO10hKtYw%26feature%3Dyoutu.be
  16. Beautiful work, imo. I'd like to see a SAA in this technique.
  17. Could be a similar tactic used for gas prices. Spike the price due to some excuse, then lower it almost--but not at, or below--to pre-spike prices, then hold it there until the people 'get used' to paying it. Spike the price again a couple years down the road, then repeat, slowly and surely making so expensive, but necessary, to conduct our way of life, we have to make personal financial sacrifices elsewhere, or choose not to do it at all.
